Barbett, this caught my eye in your confession:
also side not I am ticked at my SIL and a good friend who both sell Mary Kay and both sent me a tube of *Mary Kay timewise replenishing serum+ c* in the mail. I am 25 I have no wrinkles don't hate cause your 35 and do.
I kind of giggled... I'm a big fan of MK and a bigger fan of preventative care. I don't know your relationship with your SIL and friend - maybe there is a backstory - but just from this, I don't think they're trying to telling you that you have wrinkles. Their stuff really is great and the thing is, if you begin a good skincare routine while you're still in your 20s, you'll be glad you did by the time you're in your 30s.
Anyway, poll: what's your skincare routine? What are some of your favourite products?
Me: in the shower, I use Aveeno scrub for my face; in the morning I use MK Timewise 3-in-1 cleanser. If I'm wearing eye makeup, I use MK makeup remover (it's the 2-phase type similar to Lancome Bi Facil). Sometimes I might remember to use toner but I usually don't. And I switch back and forth between Oil of Olay Daily Defense Moisturizer and MK Timewise Moisturizer.
And for the record, I'm 29 and I don't have wrinkles either ![]()

Re: Skincare poll IHO barbett
I'm a big believer in preventative maintenance too when it comes to skin care.
I use Philosophy Purity as a cleanser in the shower (sometimes Korres White Tea cleanser instead), an eye cream that I can't remember the name of but is an anti-aging one, and Korres Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer on my face.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I'm 32 and have no wrinkles. My skincare regimen is very lacking. I wash with LaRoche Posay Effaclar foaming cleanser in the morning (and bed time...if I remember) and use some kind of Garnier moisturizer when I feel I need it.
I don't wear make up. I do think I need to go in and see a cosmetician and see what kind of anti-wrinkle preventative things they would recommend for me, though. I can't fight time forever! My mom was very youthful looking her whole life.

I never had skin care problems until I hit my 20s and I have used wrinkle/anti-aging moisturizer since I was 16. I use Neutrogena Skin ID cleanser, toner, and anti-acne moisturizer on a daily basis. I use Philosophy 'Just Release Me' makeup remover every night before bed, and if my face is feeling especially dry, I use Mary Kay Time-Wise moisturizer. I also use The Body Shop's Blue Corn cleansing scrub mask once every month to really exfoliate.

I asked them both out of curiosity. They both said that they had free samples of that and the satin hand that they were trying to get rid of so they sent them out to there close friends and family. the younger group were spose to get satin hands the older the time wise serum. I got the wrong envilope so after they stopped laughing they gave me the satin hands too. oh and if you ever get the change to use the serum it works really well to get rid of the bags under your eyes and makes your skin feel tight and smooth.
oh and as for the relationship between my SIL and I it is not the best she likes to tell me that I do everthing wrong from raising my stepson to where I store my pots and pans.
Crazy! I have both Purity Made Simple and the Korres White Tea cleanser in my shower right now too!

FWIW, I've ALWAYS had two wrinkles below my eyes... well, at least since I've been 17 or so. This past year, I started noticing fine lines starting to appear around the eyes...
The joys of being 31.

I also believe in preventative maintenance. My grandma made fun of me for this, but I told her that if I get preventative maintenance done to my car, why not make the same investment in myself.
I'm 30 and have recently been noticing more fine lines (I refuse to call them wrinkles yet). Because I have sensitive/acne prone skin, I try to use products that target that as well as aging. Lately I've been using Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta daily face peels and Perricone face wash and moisturizer. So far this combination seems to be working nicely on my face.
