jumping on the skinny jean bandwagon (PIP)

when the skinny jeans first came back, I hated it and refused to convert, but lately I have been admiring other people's outfits when they wear skinny jeans with cute boots but I wasn't sure how the skinny jeans would look on me. today I decided to head to Gap today to try out their skinny jeans. Well, I'm kicking myself now for not embracing this trend earlier - I LOVE them. I ended up with 2 pairs of Gap's "Real Straight" - they're not super tight around the ankle, but still look good with boots.

Also - scored the boots for 60% off courtesy of the clearance rack at DSW - 30% off a marked down price plus another 30% off because they're having a moving sale!

I am in the skinny jeans and I shall never meet category. I think one of the requirements to wear them is that you actually are skinny and I don't have the body type to be thin enough in my opinion.

It took me a while to come around with the skinny jeans and boots over the jeans too! Now its all I wear... I used to not be able to wear gap jeans, but their skinny ones fit great! Cute boots too.

Speaking of jeggins.... I have been thinking about crossing over to the jegging side... still thinking about it!

I have too much junk in my trunk for that look -- I'll stick to boot cut or trouser style jeans! I've gotta have the wider bottom hem to balance my hips!

The only time I think skinny jeans looks right is when they're worn with boots. I don't care how thin someone in, when they're wore with normal shoes I just think they look odd.....but, I'm no fashionista either.

Um I could have written that post myself! I found a really cute pair of slouchy black boots just before Christmas that I had to have. The only way to wear them though was with skinny jeans. I now have 1 pair of skinny jeans, and 2 pairs of jeggings (quite possibly the most comfortable thing ever). I absolutely love them and wear them just about every day. Now I'm looking for a cute pair of brown boots to wear with them!

Those are so cute! I've been wanting a pair; I can't tuck my boot cut jeans into the boots I wear to work. I didn't think they'd look good on me since I'm short, but I tried some on at ON and they looked decent. I didn't end up buying a pair because they didn't have my size in the color I wanted. But it gave me hope. I also think the skinny jeans look really cute with flats.

I agree with this with the really skinny ones but straight legs (not tight at ankle) look good on thin girls i'll...not something I can pull off though. Took.me long enough to buy into boots.

You look great! I love the look, but have a hard time with skinny jeans because I have really big calves. I still haven't found cute, flat boots that will fit over them and a pair of straight jeans.

You look fantastic! I've also been wearing them for a while now and I love how cute they are with boots. Initially, DH got them for me to go with my Ugg boots, but now I just love them because of all the tall boots that are out now!
