It was ugly here too this morning. When I got up this morning it was still snowing, when I went outside to clean the car it was sleet, and finally by the time I got to work it was freezing rain.

I'm so over winter and this weather. I want to move to a place were there is no snow and ice.

It was so deceptive. I had to be in court at 8:30: and from the window it looked like snow. I had no idea til I got outside that I'd have to hack ice off my car. My hope now is that the rain stays warm enough long enough to melt most of the snow and ice, but ends early enough to dry and not freeze on the roads and sidewalks.

What I heard was it's suppose to end in CT around 7pm, so for you guys in NJ it should be done by probably 4/5ish. So let's hope it keeps everything from refreezing.

Sounds like January. We usually get freezing rain in January. DH likes it because it forms a thick crust on the snow and when he goes to the bush it's easier to get around.

I remember frozen snow from when we lived in PA. The snow already on the ground would freeze so hard from the rain/sleet that we could walk on it...and go sledding without having to actually lug a sled around. Guess it's not quite so much fun when you're an adult and actually have responsibilities that need to be done in the frozen mess.

That's right!! haha!! We don't handle situations like this well. Shucks, we can't even handle a little flooding here and there!
