I don't want to jinx anything...
BUT...
After the appointment with the ped and she said we should change our sleeping routine...he has been getting up one time to eat. Usually around 3:00 he will wake up, eat, and go right back to sleep until 7. And we didn't change a thing with the routine!!
Re: I don't want to jinx anything...
yeah! that's great news...maybe he heard her
T dropped her 11pmish feeding pretty early, then dropped her 1-2ish feeding before moving her 430 to about 3, then dropping it all together. I think I was only getting up once a night for about 3 weeks tops, when I went back to work.
I swear, somehow they just know something in your life is changing, and they want to help you out. I think it's great news and I can see STTN right around the corner for you!! yahoo
Yay. Keep in mind, and I know this is really hard, but it will change so often. I think that was the hardest part for me. It would start going well and then boom a terrible streak and I would get so frustrated, but then magically a good week. In hind sight and now, I try to just take the bad times one morning/night at a time and realize that something is going on - teeth, growth, virus, etc. Then if I'm patient it'll get better, but if I keep planning for the worst I get surprised.
I hope that doesn't sound pessimistic, its just, I keep thinking about the new baby and how I want to be more aware of this.
I'm so excited for you that he's been sleeping good. I hope that you get a great streak of good sleep
That is great news! Felix still gets up at 11pm to eat, and he eats a ton then so we know he's hungry & not just waking out of habit (I think).
Trippin is right, Felix has been so good at sleeping till 7am, but every once in a while (this morning) he decides to do a 4 or 5 am...
