For those who have names picked out...

What are you naming you son(s)?  Daughter(s)?

Ideally I want one boy and one girl.

Boy- Anthony Isaiah.  Anthony is Richard's middle name, and Antonio is my dad's.  This includes both of them in the name.

Girl- Lisette (Lee-set) Analise.  I don't know why but I just like both names.  This is subject to change, especially since her initials would be LAP.  I don't want her getting teased as a teen about lap dance(s).

Re: For those who have names picked out...

  • For boy (which I want more) first name is definitely Jason. I want middle name to be Luke but Jeremy wants it to be Alan which is his middle name so they can have the same initials.

For girl, Kara Elizabath (but might be Ann) because our last name is so long and I don't want her to have to bubble in all that mess for tests. Ann is my middle name but also Jeremy's mom's middle name and I don't want her to think we're naming the kid after her.

We wanted Ruth for our daughter's middle name.  His grandmother who raised him since birth was named Ruth.  My aunt who is more like a mother to me is also Ruth.  My mom is very jealous of our relationship.  If we name her Ruth after his grandmother and not my aunt, my mom would throw a fit, so we decided against it.

  • Boy-Sage Keith Goodwin (keith is gerren's middle name and his father's first name)

Girl- first name is up for debate:

Rose, Lily, Violet, Layla, Gabriella, Emma, Julia.

middle name (if this is not the first name) is Rose--get's the R from both of my grandmother's names, PLUS it is gerren's mom's middle name.

  • DH and I like Rebecca Marie for a girl and Alexander Ricardo for a guy.  I also love the name River for either a boy or girl.  I like the sound of River Marie.

DH is a Junior (named after his father) but does not want to carry on the name.

  • We just decided on these Friday night!  We don't have middle names yet, but for a girl we like Abigail.  For a boy, Nathan.
My deal is that I am going to murder your puppies and piss on your rainbows. -diablesse Lilypie Premature Baby tickers
  • The first boy we have will be a JR and the 2nd boy will be William Thomas (we'll call him Liam)...named after my Dad.

For a girl we like Zoey...as for a middle name it's either going to be his grandmothers name (Irmgard, pronounced like Em-gard) or my Mom's middle name (Diane).  We still haven't decided on a 2nd girls name.

This was my favorite name and what I always wanted my little girl to be named (Abigail Grace). My cousin named her little girl that and Jeremy wasn't a fan so it was nixed. I still <3 it though.

  • We have it narrowed down but want to wait to meet the little one before deciding for sure.

Boys:  Brady, Ethan or Mason (middle name will be Andrew)

Girls:  Riley Catherine or Hannah Elizabeth

    LOVE ethan and hannah!

also, i forgot Grace for a girls name too!

  • Not sure if we're having kids, but if we are...

A boy would be a MFD the turd (III).

I would campaign hard for James Eugene though, which are both of our paternal grandfathers' first names.

    A girl would Nora MyMaidenName.

  • For a boy, I love the name Graham Davis, but H says he'd be called 'graham cracker.'  I say, in the world of nicknames, graham cracker is pretty tame!  My mom then suggested Jefferson Davis, and can't imagine why I think it's a bad idea.  Surprise

My mom's Vettic astrologer says we're having boys, so I haven't thought of any girl names.  Not that I necessarily believe it, but we also just want to wait to meet our future child(ren) to name them anyway, so this is easier.

  • I have an Ellie Nichole and Toby has a Landon Parker (not his choice). We have both agreed on Max for a boy and that's as far as we've gotten...figure we should get KU first ;-)
  • Well, we already have Mary-Jane Freida (called Emma)...most people don't like her middle name, but it was for my grandmother and I stick by the decision!

We want 2 more kids, so we have these names picked out (to cover any combination):

Edyn Autumn for a girl and Addison Neely (possibly Neely Addison) for a boy

and secondary names Ginevra (Ginny) Lee and Jude Allan.

  • Ideally we'd have a boy and girl.

For a girl we like Malia.  It means "Mary" in hawaiian and my grandmothers name was Mary. Plus we went to Hawaii on our HM so its special because of that as well.   I really want to use Stella as a middle name.  It was my moms grandmother (that was like a mother since hers passed when she was 3.) and it would mean a lot to her if we used that middle name.  DH isn't too keen on it, and I'm not sure if Malia Stella even sounds right together.  Malia Grace does though and I love that name also.

For a boy we like Caleb as a first name.  For middle DH doesn't even know about this but I'd like Patrick after my brother, or Benjamin after his brother.  Really depends on if we have a girl first and I get my way with Stella, if the second was a boy we would use Benjamin I'm sure.

LOL, too funny!  MIL is psychic and says we're only having girls, so I've never even thought about boy names :)

We're not sure if there's offspring in our future, but if so, the girl names we like are Emma & Allison.  Middle name Raelene like me and my mom.  If we have two girls, we're screwed for the middle name.

DH has Walter as their family name and as much as I don't like it, I would like to honor them by continuing it as a middle name if by chance we have a boy.

  • I have no plans on having children.

BUT, if for some strange reason I do (aka H decides that he has some sudden, innate desire to be a parent), I need to have two because I wouldn't want my kid to be an only child, so I have two for each sex, in the order that we'd use them.

    Boys: Matthew James, Thomas Joseph

    Girls: Reagan Elizabeth, Madison Grace

Btw, the girls are named after presidents. I wanted to do Jefferson Grace as the second girl, but H was like "He!! no!" Elizabeth is his mother's name and Grace is my deceased grandmother's name. Thomas Joseph is actually a "family name" on  my side. Matthew has been my favorite boy name forever. When I was 7, I was pissed that my parents only gave my brother the name Matthew as his middle name. Sucks for them because everyone calls him Matt (due to me!).

I also really like Carter for a boy, but H again says there will be weird nicknames.  He's being difficult.

I'd agree with your H, though, on not using Jefferson as a girl's name.  Blair is a family name (last name) for H, and his middle name, but I don't think we'd use it for a boy's name because of gender confusion.  Stick out tongue

  • Philip - its a family name

and Calla, cause with our last name its sounds like an alliteration.  It's very pretty to me.  Plus I carried callah lilies in my bouquet.

We like Abigail too! For a girl we like Abigail Elyse and for a boy we like Austin John. John is DH's name, and in his family the men generally name their sons after themselves, but DH doesn't want to name his kid John. In my family, we give the boys dad's first name as a middle name. So we went with that.

  • For girl: Sopia Rose lastname or Lily Ann lastname

For boy: that's up too H! haha

I've had those picked for years. And I watch Golden Girls every day so thats when I really fell in love with Sophia Rose.

  • Boy: Keaton William (William is DH's middle name, and his dad's first name)

Girl: Cassidy Jean (Jean is both mine and my mom's middle name)
I also REALLY like Charlotte for a girl :)

  • For a girl - Kaylee Elizabeth

For a boy - Jacoby and we'd call him Coby. I like James as the middle name because it flows but I don't want him to be called JJ and DH wants to carry the family name of Harry so he wants the middle name to be Harry so that's still up for a debate

  • We are really hoping for a girl since DH has 3 boys already...or twins since he has 1 set...okay maybe its just me that wants twins ;)

We have picked out Liliana and Dylan. DH hates Dylan and I wanted just Lily, so the compromise was I get Dylan and he gets Liliana. I'm not gonna lie-I like the names so I can call them Lil and Dill. I don't like middle names, so I will only use them if DH really wants them.
