Aw- Waaay behind the curve, just booked our HM
Since I married a teacher in September, we had to push off our honeymoon until this June. I was oh so jealous when everyone came back from their HM's looking all tanned and relaxed. But we finally booked our honeymoon. 12 fabulous days in France!!
We're doing 6 days in Paris and 6 days in the French Riviera! I can't wait!!!

I can't wait. Poor Sam had to listen to me whine and complain the full month of September and part of October.
"The Mexican Riviera sounds nice.....oooohhhh St Lucia......I've never been to the Outer Banks......"
He was pretty patient through all my tantrums
MushE- I'm torn, St. Tropez sounds awesome, but we found an adorable hotel in Villefranche Sur Mer, between Nice and Monaco. Where did you stay and visit? Any advice?
I was a poor college student during my southern France trip, so you probably wouldn't want to go anywhere near where we stayed.
Buuut, I met up with my college roommate, who had just spent a year in Aix en Provence. She had this awesomely French roommate, who was sweet and took us around Marseilles. So, not really the French Riviera, but I really enjoyed Aix and Marseilles.
Are you getting a car? I'd definitely do it up in true honeymoon style, and stay at the adorable hotel you found, and plan not to leave the room.
For Nice and Monaco, I really enjoyed the touristy things, i.e., the palace. We also went to Cannes, which was nice, but I felt that it was expensive and overrated. The beaches were beautiful, and it was nice to just relax and lay out, but we were in the middle of a backpacking blitz of a trip, and didn't get much of that elsewhere.
And I think you should go to the other places (Mexican Riviera, OBX, St. Lucia) the next few years for your anniversary.
Definitely worth the wait!
