Yes, it is true. It is perfectly normal not to O every single time. Many women have a hard time, and can only come in certain positions.

It's normal as in common, but IMO it's not normal as in healthy, and the general consensus that women's orgasms are optional is a continued part of the sexual inequality between men and women.

I have the big O more than most women that I know (that feel comfortable sharing..lol) but even I don't get the big one every time. (Extra lubrication and a small one perhaps, but it depends on the position)

ITA. I think it's just become accepted that it's okay if women don't have an orgasm every time. If I didn't want to have one because I'm not really in the mood or whatever, that's one thing. But to not have one because it takes too long or it's a bother to figure out what will make it happen is crap. I think that my orgasm is just as important as my H's since we have sex for mutual satisfaction, not just his.

I think it's normal. I have a complete inability to turn my brain off sometimes, in which case I'm at a dead end (literally). I have to really work hard on not thinking about homework, the dishes, etc to enjoy it. If it happens over and over again, I would talk to the SO so they don't think you like the current process.
