How often do you dust and vacuum?
I feel like if I don't dust and vacuum every other day, my house starts to feel dirty. I have a good quality vacuum (Miele) so I don't think that is the problem. I do have two dogs, but they don't shed.

Re: How often do you dust and vacuum?
I want to know where all the dust and dirt come from? We bought a fixer upper and have re-stored most of the house thus far but for some reason every time I turn around things are covered in dust. DH said we might need to have the vents cleaned out. The prior owners did not clean or care for this home so it wouldnt surprise me that the vents are half our problem. We have a golden retriever so I tend to vacuum a few times a week but I do most of my major cleaning saturday am when DH is at work.
This. If you are replacing your filter appropriately and still having dust problems you may need to get the system cleaned. I dust/vacuum once per week and aside from cat hair I don't notice any issues with dust buildup.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over!
I dry dust weekly, and do a deep cleaning (with wood cleaner or whatever is appropriate to the material) about once a month.
We have all hard floors throughout the house, and we run the Roomba and/or sweep the whole house almost every day (we have two cats, and we get little tumbleweeds of fur if we don't.) (Our house is also only ~600 sf, so it isn't a ton of work.)
Dust? Yeah right. Once a week, tops.
We don't vacuum, per se, because we just have one area rug, so that gets done by the cleaners every other week and we spot clean as necessary. We sweep/swiffer 2-3 times a week and full out mop the floors once a week.

We vacuum once a week..maybe less. We live in a small townhouse and don't have a large area to vacuum.
However, I just bought a new vacuum today and was amazed at what it picked up! We knew our old vacuum was not working as well but we had no idea how badly until our first vacuum with the new one today!
I feel like everything is so much cleaner now!
