A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
I'm thankful that DH and I have been so close lately. I've enjoyed the extra lovey-dovey time . . . probably TMI huh :-)
I'm also thankful that I expressed my concern about being negative and critical and he was receptive to my thoughts. We had watched Meet the Fockers, and I thought their "muskrat" cue was a good example of a way to help monitor each other.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I'm thankful for the freinds who don't take sides and still continue to associate with me after a falling out I had with mutual friends (over the bad choice of actions I took in handling a misunderstanding).
I'm also thankful for the BIL and SIL who stuck up for me when another SIL insulted me ONLY because she and my DH are fighting, and it was one of her ways of getting under his skin (the funny thing is, this SIL and I get along great and once she and Mike end their feud everything will be fine between us).
I'm thankful for my friends. We went to the beach this weekend & had a blast! No hard partying just drinks, dinner & catching up. Oh, and a little shopping of course.
I'm thankful that SD has stability within our family since she doesn't have it with her mother. I pray that as she gets older she will see that more clearly.
I'm thankful that DH missed me as much as he did while I was gone this weekend.
I am thankful that the official snow policy at my job is "use your head".
Today I made a valiant attempt to drive into work, the roads were crap and going to get worse, so I turned around and I am now working from home. This does mean that I have more work to do than normal and I will probably work more than 9 hours, but I get to do it in my PJ's and watch my tivoed golden globes.
I am thankful that our new foster dog, Sam, has stopped trying to hump Sadie.
Also thankful that I have awesome parents who are there whenever I need them. I don't know what I would do without them!

DH & I at the Light Festival
Hahahahah! Oh, Mel, you crack me up!
Well, since I was out at a meeting all day yesterday, I guess I am thankful that the rest of the week I will pretty much just be in the office by myself! I have a horrible sore throat (that I would probably stayed home for if my boss would be in today), so I just don't feel like "working."
I am also thankful for girls night tonight! My bestie and I are going to see the Black Swan (and it is free popcorn night at the theater, too!). So excited!
