Advice on a new "look"?!

Hi girls! I would like to update my hairstyle/color. The strawberry blonde that I am now is my natural color, but it tends to get darker in the winter anyway and I would like to try some color (have only colored my hair once before and it wasn't dramatic). Can anyone recommend an over the counter coloring product? Also, I want to keep and keep growing the length of my hair. Right now it is just a tiny bit past shoulder length and all one length. If anyone happens to be bored and sees some cool long haircut styles online and wants to pass it on...or has suggestions...that would be great! Oh by the way I have pale skin as you can see and green eyes. Thanks!!! I am great at painting my nails but hairstyling has always been a weakness lol.

  • I dye my hair about every 2-3 months. I love Garnier Nutrise. It moisturizes your hair really well as it dyes.

  • I haven't 'done' over-the-counter hair dye since about 2003.  sorry.  Good luck!

Where we met - Mount Isa
a small mining town in the Australian Outback. Neither of us are from there but we both moved there in the second last year of highschool. He was moved next to me in maths class to stop him talking. It didn't work.
  • I second Garnier Nurtisse. It is AMAZING!!! The color stays, and it smells wonderful... No nasty smells... LOL...

I wish I could give some ideas for long hair (Which is what I have now) But tomorrow, I am cutting my hair off!! LOL

    Everyday is a miracle. Anniversary
  • For OTC color I third Garnier Nurtisse - they have a nice selction of "normal" shades that hold their color.  If you want more "intense" (esp. reds) try Garnier's 100% color line.

As a natural Deep Red I like to go lighter, but red seems to fade so quickly half the time I end up with strawberry blonde hair with dark red roots within 3 weeks!
