Keurig v. Tassimo
Ashley saying she had a Tassimo got me wondering.
I want a single serve brewer. I didn't realize the Tassimo made lattes. How does that work?
Share with me your knowledge of the two...FIL has a Keurig and while that would suit me just fine, I am intrigued by the idea of lattes.

My brother's girlfriend was a vendor for both of these. If you're a coffee snob and like more than just single brews the Tassimo is the way to go.
Matter of fact, they have both (she gets them for free) and really only use the Tassimo.
I have the tassimo. I love it. The discs can get pricey though, but much cheaper than going to a Starbucks.
Like Marcy said, Tassimo is for foam type drinks (lattes, chi teas, etc). Keurig can only brew non milk drinks. Since I can use a regular coffee maker to make coffee, a Keurig isn't something I would invest in, though some people love them.
Coffee Snob...lol love it! And yes, yes I am a coffee snob! HA!
Bed Bath and Beyond sells the disk and with the 20% off coupons, it isn't that bad. My fav is the caramel lattes Yum! Jes is a fan of the chai tea lattes...
In the mornings, if I have time before leaving, I'll make a latte to go in my go cup.
It makes teas and hot chocolates too, which is a neat feature.
AND, if my mom and dad are over (or anyone for that matter) and I offer them coffee, my mom likes decaf and my dad likes the real stuff, so they can get a cup of their choosing.
I love my keurig, I don't think I could live without it.
It doesn't do lattes but you can do coffee, tea and hot chocolate. And yes I have both a big pot and the keurig, and I use both of them.
