WW Weekly Check in

I'm starting this early today because I know I won't want to check-in after weigh in today (but I will). DS' birthday was last week so there were two cakes and lots of homemade cookies involved. I did have some cake and cookies and felt crappy about it. The difference about this time and previous attempts at WW was that this time I got back on the bandwagon. In the past I would have fallen off and run in the opposite direction of the wagon. I'm just hoping I haven't gained weight, I'll be happy with staying the same. How did you guys do this week?

  • I was really not anticipating good news when I weighed in yesterday because DH and I did happy hour one evening and I had a few glasses of wine over the weekend.  However, I was happily surprised (well, amazed) that I lost 3.6 lbs.  I guess even though I went over on my points, maybe being aware made me go over LESS than I typically would have. 

    Nessia, I think it's great that you realized you messed up and went back to your plan.  I think that's really the way to go. Good luck!

  • Well, over the break I lost 4, then gained them back, and now I'm back down 2.  I yo-yo  :(  Anyways, got a personal trainer (yay!) and am off to a good start this week.  I'm horrible about dessert at night, last night it was a brownie, so that's my goal this week.

  • I survived and surprised myself. I lost 1.4lbs. I'm happy and more importantly still motivated. Good luck this week everyone!
  • My weigh-in went well and I got a sticker. :)

    One woman in my meeting lost SEVEN pounds this week and another lost nineteen in just four weeks. Holy cow! Now I am really motivated to find a gym I like.

  • All of y'all are rockstars !!! Every little but counts and ads up to big numbers in the end. I weigh in tonight but regardless of the scale I feel better than I have in awhile. I've been doing c25k on the treadmill and bodypump class. I'll put up numbers later, just wanted to say to tell all of you that you are very encouraging, and a big thank you for that!

  • I started counting points on Monday and did my first weigh-in and meeting on Tuesday. So far, I'm liking the meetings pretty well and I'm hoping to try out a couple more times and leaders before I settle on one.

    As far as tracking, I'm putting everything in and I have to admit, I'm a little skeptical. I tracked my calories off and on with the Lose It! app before joining WW, so I know a little about the calorie counts of what I'm eating and I feel like even though I'm on target in points, I might be over in calories. I will reserve judgment for a few weeks. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

  • So for the second week in a row I lost .4 I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not eating all my points, which stinks since I've full and just trying to 'resist' over doing it. Guess I need to re examine what I'm eating.
