i am not complaining

im just COMPLAINING!

still so so so sick. its so weird, but i only feel well between the hours of 3am and 6am. the nausea is unbearable. i break down and cry once a day ... i just want to crawl out of my own skin.

i cant toloerate drinking anything. it just does not stay in or sit well. i am totally exhausted and just exhausted from feel like throwing up every second. i have also had the most crazy nightmeres, and wake up in sweats.

i am terrified to go to disney like this... like i am going to ruin the whole damn trip. i have been on zofran but they just took me off because of crazy (tmi) constipation and my not being able to drink enough. it actually didnt help all that much anyway. just got a scrpt for reglan. anyone ever take this?

ugh! so sorry for this... i am not well, people.

on a positve note, saw the baby yesterday! took mila and isla. mila was so cute- she said she would wash the babys feet and take care of the baby when it comes here... but after she gets to the beach.

Re: i am not complaining

  • I was on Compazine (sp?) for Shannon. With Kyle, we tried Compazine, but it didn't work. Then, I tried Reglan. It was better, but still wasn't cutting it. I was still getting sick almost daily. My final med that we tried was Zofran, and it worked for me. So, to answer your question, yes, I've been on it! Everyone's different, and hopefully the Reglan will work for you!

As for drinking... I found that I couldn't tolerate cold beverages. I had to drink luke-warm water or room-temp beverages in order for them to not upset me even more.

  • OH HONEY!  I don't know how you do it! Complain away! Let me know if I can help at all...You can come here and take a nap while the girls play or anything you need! I hope the new prescription works for you! Have you tried the seabands at all? I know they have worked for a few people...I don't have much more to add...Good luck, feel better, and vent away...
  • Complain away Erica!

I've been worried about you to be honest.  I know you don't handle pgs well.  The zofran did constipate me too but I seriously needed it.  Reglan made me itchy and a little loopy; I was not a fan of it.  And the only thing that helped me poop was an enema.  Sorry for the TMI

Have you gone for any hydration therapy?  This was really the only thing that made me feel better.  I too couldn't drink anything (which doesn't help the constipation) and felt so worn out, but the IV gave me a little energy.  Plus they can give you the zofran and prenatals in an IV.

A plus about Disney is that it shouldn't be too hot, so at least you wont be horribly uncomfortable in that aspect.

Small confession: I'm petrified of getting pregnant again b/c of this

  • OH Erica..you can complain away and I have been thinking of you hoping that you were getting better.

I have no advice on the sick meds but hope you can get some relief soon.  When are you leaving for Disney?

  • Oh, Erica, that absolutely sucks.  I'm sorry you're so sick! I hope things calm down in time for your trip.  Thinking of you and hoping for improvement!

It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!

  • Oh yeah, Zofran constipated me too. I took stool softeners to help me for when I did go. After a couple months, my body adjusted to the Zofran and I wasn't really constipated anymore. Took it until delivery. I feel for you, Erica. Hope you feel better!!!!
