Watching American Idol tonight?
I'm excited - I don't usually watch the audition rounds much. But, tonight they are in NY/NJ, so it will be local people. They did the bigger round at the Meadowlands, but the round with the judges was filmed at my wedding venue!! I'm psyched to see it on TV tonight.
What is it about this week and having things related to my wedding on reality TV? My rabbi, seamstress, cake baker, and venue all on in the same week!

I might watch it. Just depends on if Jeff wants to watch a movie or not. Either way, I will probably DVR it.

I go back and forth on Idol. For the first 6 years, I watched faithfully - then the judging and the voting started to not make sense (beginning with the year that Jennifer Hudson didn't make the top 5), and then the next time with the whole Sanjaya episode...
It seemed that the really talented folks that you wanted to root for were kicked off, and these talentless kids just took over...Add that to the fact that I couldn't stand Paula (I would hit the mute button when it was her turn to speak) and I detest Ryan Seacrest...So I haven't watched at all for the past 4 seasons...
All that being said, I adore Steven Tyler, and after seeing him perform on a show recently, I am willing to give it another go just because he's a part of it. So, yes, I will be checking them out tonight...and looking to see your venue!

It's a good show to DVR, since there is so much fluff. I just want to see the good singers!
I also haven't watched it in a few seasons, but will probably take a peek at it to see how the new judges are.
