Anyone use Shaklee products?

I read this blog and I've seen these products used on another one as well (can't remember the name). I've never heard of them before these blogs. Does anyone have any info about these products? When I check the site, it seems like they are really trying to *sell* the product, kwim?

Re: Anyone use Shaklee products?

  • I now know two shaklee reps through some of my networking groups that I've joined for my business.  I've gotten great reviews from other members who have used their cleaning products.  I don't know a lot about them, but I do trust the person who gave me the most informative review.  I guess that's not a ton of 3rd party validation since I haven't personally used them, but wanted to at least offer the opinion of another.

There are a lot of great products out there that people haven't heard of because they are new and going through network marketing channels.  As shaklee grows, you will hear more about it.  I know that practically no one near me has heard of my company, but they know our other company and our creators.  If you go into the areas where we've already launched, a lot of people have heard of our company.  It just depends on where you are and who you know.  There was a time when no one knew Mary Kay or Avon either.

  • Of course they're trying to sell/push the products. :) That's what they do! My aunt is (was?) a Shaklee rep. I love the Meadow-something-or-other cleanser. I've used a few other products over the years (mostly vitamins). The protein powder SUCKS.

  • i grew up around these products. they are the only household cleaners, personal care items, and vitamins/health supplements my mother uses. they were green and all natural before before it was popular. they've been around for a long time for a reason--they work very well. they are concentrated in their cleaners, so they don't take as much, even though they seem to be expensive. i've yet to use one of their products that i didn't like for household products or supplements (well.....i agree w/pp and don't like their protein powders, unless they've come up with an improved one since i last tried).
