Mommas of Boys.

What did you put your infant in for shoes during winter? I can't find anything that's warm and not super clonky. And It's starting to drive me nuts that I can't find shoes for him.

Re: Mommas of Boys.

  • Since he wasn't running around I just put him in his footed "snowsuit" when we went out and inside he was in Robeez.

So am I a bad mommy that he doesn't have a snowsuit? at all?

This - if we were going to be outside.  MIL gave us a fleece bear suit that was really warm (from Old Navy). As for a regular snow suit - we just got one for P for this year, no real "snow suit" last year.

If we weren't going to be outside for long periods of time, we used thick socks or maybe his (target knock-off) robeez?  Of course, I don't think it gets quite as cold here as it does near you!

That is what Josh had - NO you aren't a bad mom!

  • Brody never wore shoes last winter. Since he was a newborn most of the winter, whenever we went outside he was in his infant carrier in a Bundle Me. He stayed nice and toasty warm in there. We were never in a situation where he needed to be outside for a long period of time.

This is exactly what I did for Dylan.

  • Levi always has socks on.  If we go outside he's in his footed fleece bear suit. At night he's in footed jammies.   He does have two pairs of shoes that I wear if we are going out and it's not frigid...then I put a coat and hat on him.
