Hey ladies!
Have any of you started to think about Vday? What are you planning on getting/doing for DH?
I am stumped. I am also trying to keep things on a budget too. DH and I are going to this expensive dinner at the beginning of next month and I am wondering if I should cancel that and use the money for vday. Anyways...I am rambling and curious as to what you all are doing!

Re: Valentine's Day
For the actual "day" we won't do anything cause I have volleyball that night. Sometimes our games are pretty early or pretty late, so maybe we could throw dinner in there at a local pub.
I usually get Jeff boxers and chocolates. It is just kind of expected now. Haha! Maybe that weekend I will make him a really good dinner with wine. We shall see...
Shmel's Blog
We were actually just talking about this last night. DH has to work late that day, so we will probably go out to eat/have date night some other night. We can't do it the week before because that's SILs 21st bday and Super Bowl.
We also talked about just doing 1 big joint gift, but didn't really decide anything. H usually sends me flowers and we go out to dinner. Last year I got him a bunch of his favorite candy and I think a gc to Cheesecake factory.

My Photography Blog!
Since it's a Monday we'll likely do it the Saturday before, because I usually make him a nice dinner and the tart cherry pie he loves, right out of the oven at the end of dinner. Sunday he has a 5:50pm hockey game so that's not the best idea. Fortunately we don't have the kids so we will be alone! No gifts though, just sappy cards which I got mine the other day :-)
I asked him what he wanted to eat but he hasn't said, so I might make a lamb and scallops dinner (kinda like surf and turf) or if I find a really yummy looking steak. He'll eat anything I make and love it so I don't sweat it too bad.
