Universal Studios question
DH and I are taking the kids to Florida (Daytona Beach) for a week in July and my dad suggested to go to Disney or Universal one day while there. Kids have been to Disney a couple times and DH has no interest so I thought Universal would be better.
Does anyone have any suggestions as far as how to get discounted tix? (if there is such a thing for that park) I figure we would want to go to the original park and Islands of Adventure esp bc of Harry Potter which they haven't been to yet.

If you're a member of AAA I recomend using them. You can get diamond Parking at the park which will get you a parking spot near the gate and they are super great to work with. DH & I are surprising SD with a trip to Disney in early June & I booked it all thru AAA & have been very pleased with their knowladge & customer service.
I've also bought a book the help me get acclimated. There's a "Touring Plan" in the back to help you schedule you time & get the most out of your one day. Thanks for your suggestions ladies, unfortunately I'm not a AAA member since I have roadside assist with my insurance and my dealer actually as well. We have a Six Flags (Great Adventure) and Dorney Park nearby which sell tix at stores at a discount or with an empty Coke can a discount added.
George-Anne, thanks for the offer for for the book info, I think we'll be ok since I have been there a number of times, just not terribly recently (I think 8 or 9 years ago? but we went every three years for the previous 9 years so I know the park well in my memory).
