TTC: On what cycle day do you usually start testing? I started testing no earlier than day 26, which would have been at least one day "late" for me. This kept me from testing early every month.
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? I think it was day 26.
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? It was correct for me. We didn't try to influence the gender at all, just wanted to get pregnant!
3rd trimester: Did you experience a return of morning sickness in the 3rd trimester? No. But I never threw up at all in the 1st tri, just had general nausea and fatigue... I haven't re-experienced those in the 3rd tri.
L&D: Did you notice a nesting instinct kick in before you went into labor? I have had this kick in several times already, but what's funny is that after a day of "nesting," I'm worn out and I do virtually nothing for the next two days! It will be interesting to see if the crazy nesting instinct kicks in immediately before labor, since I'm obviously not there yet.
Updates: Baby's feet have been way over on my right side a lot lately. It's a very funny feeling- sometimes she wiggles them so fast that it actually tickles. This is making me nervous that she'll get comfortable in that position and become partially breech, even though I know it's too early to worry about that yet.

1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? I have no idea since I wasn't keeping track of my cycles.
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? I will not know until May since I am on team green. The Bump's Chinese calendar predicted a girl, but another website's Chinese calendar said we are having a boy. I guess we have a 50/50 shot at either sex.
TTC: On what cycle day do you usually start testing? Theoretically at 12 DPO, but I've been an eager beaver the last couple cycles and have tested at 10. Ok... 9. Not so smart.

not sure, maybe 30?
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? It was not for # 1, for # 2 not sure yet.

1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP?
I tested 2 weeks after each possible date of conception. My cycle has always been wonky (anywhere between 6-9 weeks between periods). I tried to keep an eye on CM and tried for three weeks somewhere in the middle of my cycle. Third time was the charm and we were surprised... with my unpredictible cycles, we were not expecting to get a BFP on our first round of TTC.

The Bump's Gender Chart predicts boy... ultrasounds say girl. We didn't have a preference and didn't try to influence in any way. We may try to influence if we go for #2 since we'd like to have one of each.
TTC: On what cycle day do you usually start testing? Whatever 12+ days after my O date was for that cycle. This time I tested before I thought it was 12 days (I didn't chart) and got a positive.
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? 29 (normally day 12 wasn't until after day 32)
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? It says boy, but we won't know if it's right until our LO arrives. I should add that my Dad also thinks it's a boy and he hasn't ever been wrong.
TTC: On what cycle day do you usually start testing? I usually started testing around CD10-12. But I O'd late in the cycle, so I wanted enough time to gear up and see the pink line get darker.
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? We got our BFP on CD30.
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? Half were right, half were wrong. The one on the Bump was wrong. I didn't try to influence anything since we were just grateful to be expecting. We really didn't care if it was a boy or girl.
Update: Now almost 28 weeks and counting. Time is flyin' by! I've been told we're already in the 3rd trimester, but I'm not sure. I think it starts on this coming Saturday when we're 28 weeks. Wowza! 2 weeks from tomorrow we're pre-registering at the hospital we're delivering at and taking the tour.

Well, in Nov/Dec I waited until day 35 of my cycle. It was a good week after my period was due. That was about 14 days after ovulation. Last time, I had my period before then, so clearly no test. I'm probably going to be testing at around 12-14 days after ovulation.
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? CD 22 w/ S2. My cycle w/ G was medicated, and I was on birth control until the injectibles started, so it doesn't really "count".
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods?
Yes, the Chinese birth calendar was accurate, but its hokey. That means that ALL the embryos created through my FET cycle would all HAVE had to be male, and the chances of that happening are pretty slim.
No we did not influence the gender. We had no genetic reason to screen out any particular gender, so we didn't ask for it. At that point we just wanted to get pregnant.
3rd trimester: Did you experience a return of morning sickness in the 3rd trimester?
Luckily, no.
L&D: Did you notice a nesting instinct kick in before you went into labor?
Nope
First days: Did you bank the cord blood?
No. I tried to with S2, but since I went into labor ahead of schedule my kit hadn't arrived yet, and the donation place wouldn't allow me to use the hospital's. I sure wanted to, though.

2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? team green here, so not sure. the bump predicts girl. no influence of gender.
3rd trimester: Did you experience a return of morning sickness in the 3rd trimester? nope, never had morning sickness at all.
TTC: On what cycle day do you usually start testing? With DS, it was around 10DPO. This time it was after AF was due...maybe 13dpo?
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP? This time it was cycle day 27.
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods? It was not correct with DS. We won't know with this one until the end of Feb. We didn't try to influence the gender in any way.
3rd trimester: Did you experience a return of morning sickness in the 3rd trimester?nope
L&D: Did you notice a nesting instinct kick in before you went into labor?hard to tell. We underwent a full kitchen gut/remodel that ended 2 days before DS was born. I was REALLY ready to have my kitchen back and everything put away. But that could have had more to do with eating takeout for 6 weeks than nesting...

Actually never actively TTC. #1 happened in spite of BC, stars aligned again for #2 - it was one "let's see what happens" time
1st trimester: On what cycle day did you get a BFP?
One day before my period was due. I felt PG! With #1 I went a few weeks past period due date before catching on.
Celyn, could you replace JustGestating (EDD June 22) with bloominautumn. I figure it's time to get rid of the AE

Day 28, I think. My cycles are clockwork so when I was two days late, I POAS and I was surprised at the BFP.
2nd trimester: What the Chinese birth calendar accurate for you? Did you try to influence the gender of your child through diet or other methods?
The birth calendar is predicting girl, but we won't know for another two weeks at the big u/s. We didn't know how to influence the gender (we could barely figure out TCOYF), so I'm going to have to say no on this one.
