Repost from D&R: my new bathroom! Yay!

I'm reposting my own post from D&R- just becaust I'm excited. Haha     So I've told you ladies I have a cute little fixer-upper. Well, there was nothing "cute" about my master bathroom. It was like walking into the 80's. Not to mention it is tiny. I had to work with it though. And didn't have a ton to spend. So.. here is the breakdown: $100- new toilet $88- new sink $50- new light fixture $20- new mirror (so excited about this antique store find! It would have cost at least $60 at home depot) $15- shelves from Target $200- plumber to install- but he also did the mirror and shelves All together : $473!! For what I feel like is a whole new bathroom- TOTALLY worth it. It's like Christmas day here. I text my mom a picture and said "If you need me- I'll be in my bathroom--- in a non-weird way. Hahaha :)  " Just thought I would share! Before-- can we say PINK!??! : image Why yes, that is a wood grain toilet seat. Possibly my favorite part of the bathroom. Or the towel rack 1 foot above the toilet that clearly can't hold a full towel. 3 hand towels? Sure! But who needs that? Gah. image And the AFTER! (Why did I wait a year and a half to do this?? >Kicking myself<): imageimage May not be much to others- but this is a serious upgrade from the old bathroom! I'm in love! Just had to share! Thanks for looking. :)

  • That pink toilet is amazing lol. You did a good job-I like the sink and the corner shelves are a great idea for that smaller space.

  • Nice job!

H's cousin and his wife bought a house that has colored toilets/sinks/tubs AND carpet.  One bathroom is blue, one orange (which is pretty awesome Stick out tongue), and one is yellow.

When my parents bought their house years ago, one bathroom was blue, one was pink, and the other was brown. I'm talking toilet, sink, tile and the tub. So pretty. Ha!

  • Nice job! The corner shelves are cute.

The before picture reminds me of the bathrooms at a college dorm.
