I hear that this weekend we are supposed to have some of the lowest temps we have had in a couple of years. MIL wants us to come over Sunday night. I'm hesitant to bring Abe out unless we absolutely must. I felt bad saying probably not because of the cold...because if it is that cold I would still bring him to school.
Re: How cold is too cold?
How far away is your MIL? Are you walking?
As long as you're driving, I would bundle him up, start the car so it's warm when you bring him to it, and go for it. You can bundle basically everything except his face, and when I take MJ out in the cold for a walk I lube him up with Aquaphor on his face to give him a layer of protection.
Really, it's up to you, certainly a fair reason to stay home, but probably don't need to change your weekend plans around it... that said, we'll be staying indoors most of the weekend :-)
If you're driving, he'll only be outside the 30 seconds it takes to move him inbetween the house and the car. I think it would be fine to take him out.
Sorry!
I am changing my answer to this!
haha, I like this! You'll bring him out in the cold when he has to go to daycare and you work but why bring him out in that cold if you don't have to! Stay home and be warm!
THIS. Because cupcakes trump all.
crap now I want a cupcake
Oh and definitely stay home!
