Woman falls into fountain while texting - LIP

This is too funny not to share.

While I agree someone should have checked whether she was hurt, I don't see the need to hire an attorney. Hmm

  • I agree that someone should've checked to see if she was okay, but seriously. Lady, you're an idiot. Suing all responsible parties is a little extreme for you being careless. I hope the judge laughs her out of the courtroom.

  • I love this quote:

She said the question she posed to her fellow employees is, 'Would you laugh if it was someone you knew?'

For her CWs, it's someone they know, yes? And yes, I'd laugh. Heh.

Who are the "responsible parties" that she's going to sue? I say that the person on the other end of the text was responsible too.

  • PS. The youtube video is hilarious. Although I'll admit that it IS unprofessional for the security guys to have posted that.

I agree with Ringy on this.  I mean I would be embarassed if something crazy like that ended up on YouTube of me, but at the same time, Ummm Dumbarse. Don't walk and text then.Stick out tongue

  • I mean, don't get me wrong... if someone was standing on a balcony taking a video with their phone, then Youtube away! But I think that posting security video was rather a violation of their jobs as security officers.

FWIW I still think it's funny as hell.

  • I say public place where video could be taken. Perk of the job to be able to access the video and get a chuckle out of it. Maybe posting to youtube wasn't that great, but who cares. That woman is a dumbass. I like that she was making fun of the people who bumped into each other in the mall while texting after the fact. "didn't you see my video and learn something?" Seriously lady. You made my day.

I agree completely. Given that it is a security video rather than a personal video, I think that it is morally wrong, if not a fireable offense. That said, I think that it's hilarious and am glad that they decided to post it. I also think that the lady brought all of this on herself by not paying attention.

  • I may have Bwahaha'd out loud and laughed until I peed a little bit. :)

  • Um... I also think it's ridiculous...  The video is hilarious, and albeit embarrassing, but it's such poor quality, that if she hadn't come forward with her "woe is me" act, no one would have known it was her.  Get over yourself, lady! Have a sense of humor.  I saw her on one thing that said "If the fountain had been empty I would have been seriously hurt!!" Are you kidding me?!

  • Stupidity does not deserve a woe is me!
