Hello? (Hello...hello...hello...)
Huh. It's so empty in here, my subject line echoes.
What's everyone up to?
I've been wasting time on Pinterest, knitting, and hand-applique-ing. I'm headed out to lunch with some girlfriends in about 45 minutes. My life is so glamorous.
What's your Thursday been like?
Re: Hello? (Hello...hello...hello...)
Yo, I'm here.
Not much on the old agenda today -- cleaned the bathroom, made lunch for DH. Am going to start chili soon.
Exciting!

My 101
I had stats today and spent the majority of the hour and 45 minutes drawing pictures of stick figures shooting themselves. Seriously, this is college level stats (or at least, I thought it was) but my dear classmates are struggling with mean/median/mode and basic standard deviation equations.
Classmate: Why is 63 the mode? Why not 74??
Professor: Well Fred, 63 occurs 3 times in the data set whereas 74 only occurs twice.
Classmate: Oh. (Long pause) So because 3 is more than 2, 63 is the mode?
Professor: Riiiight.
Me: Headdesk. Headdesk. Headdesk.
Leigha, feel better and good luck on the move!
KB, between this and your last round of classmates, I'm getting a very poor image of NC residents. :-/

I'm in and out. Mostly out because this week has been crazy at work. I am trying to right my self-review but my co-irker will not STFU. She is on the phone almost literally all day with her mom, sister, or loser bf. I tell you this girl cannot scratch her @$$ without calling mommy dearest for a how-to. Then she is arguing with "Sissy" about how she is raising her kids and giving her orders every hour. Sissy doesn't follow the orders and tells her to go fluck herself so then it is another call to mommy to tell on sissy. 8. Hours. A. Day.
I tried to say something and was told that I should quit picking on her and that I cannot say anything about her or to her. FTW.
You and me both. I'm baffled by their questions and I want to scream when three different people ask basically the same question. I think it boils down to the fact that they (specifically the younger ones) can't be bothered to stop texting/checking facebook or to listen in class and they really don't care about being there. Thankfully most of them are not nursing students.
