Re: birth certificates

  • 2 options: the town hall where the hospital is located, or the town hall where you live

  • I was wondering the same thing.  I really dont want to drive to Providence to get Aiden's birth certificate so if i can get it from our City Hall then that would be great.

  • You can get it from your town or city hall.  I would call before you go because sometimes it can take a few weeks.
  • thanks so much! i'll have to call my town hall-i'm lazy and don't want to drive to providence :)

  • FYI- check Town Halls website.  I got Ben's by mailing in a form (located on the website- I used Warwick), the check, and then received it maybe 3 days later.
  • I mailed in a form and it was sent to me in the mail, so I don't think you need to actually go and get it. Look up the vital statistics webpage of your hometown.
  • thanks! i'll look now :)
