Would you be ok or upset with a friend kissing your husband on the lips (closed mouth) as a greeting?

Re: Hot topic
Remember when we did hot topics all the time? I totally forgot about that!
Anyway... he!! no. We're both even a little uncomfortable with front hugs. I don't need my boobs pressing against another guy and I don't really want another chick's boobs pressing against my H. We're probably a little conservative in that way, but I don't care
We side hug the opposite sex.
I would not be OK with it. Between friends, that's weird. Between family, that's not something normal between my family.. but I don't think it's totally crazy. But yeah, if my friends did that, I would find it weird.
Speaking of this story- a couple weeks ago, my dad and I were saying goodbye after a family dinner. We have these weekly and he always kisses me on the cheek at the end of the night. For some reason, I turned my head too early and we pecked on the lips, like you do with your grandma or something. We both pulled away, gave each other a crazy look and he said "we dont do that...." . Hahaha I was like "NO we don't! AH" hahahaha hilarious. We're still laughing over it.
Sorry to post-jack. But yeah.. I think friend to friend is weird.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
Something similar happened with my dad and me. He turned to kiss my check as I turned to kiss his, and our lips ended up brushing. It was really awkward, but he was more weirded out than I was. We never kiss each other on the lips in my family.
Yeah, it may be a family thing. I can't imagine any of my friends actually doing this, but because some of my weird elderly relatives did, it seems less weird to me.
My Great Aunt Olive used to actually LICK her lips, then make us give her a big kiss on the mouth when we were kids. I'm still traumatized.
On second thought (and reflecting upon Aunt Olive) I think I may want to change my answer, not because of the romance factor, but just because of the ick factor.
Holy crap, if MIL and DH kissed on the lips I would vomit. Maybe my family and I are abnormal, but we just don't kiss each other. And I'm okay with that....
I would be upset. That would just be weird!
My family is not very affectionate. DH's family on the other hand, is very affectionate. It was really, really strange at first. His mom is very affectionate towards DH and BIL. She'll hold their hands, and they kiss on the lips, and stuff like that. At first, I was just really surprised. Now, I don't really think much of it. Actually, it made me wish my family was as affectionate as his is.

I do catch myself kissing LO on the lips but it is when we do "zerberts" to make her smile. My SK's used to with DH, thank goodness no more! I'm sorry but I don't want to kiss my DH after his snotty, runny nose kissed him..ick
