Good luck to DH

Rick is competing in a CrossFit competition this weekend, the 2011 Charlottesville SuperFit.  He has been so busy with work lately that he has not had the chance to train like he would have liked to train, but it should be a really great experience.

If this competition is anything like other competitions then he should finish lower middle  of the pack (this is his first competition for CrossFit outside of our gym), but from some of the comments on the page that announced the workouts yesterday maybe he will finish even higher.  The weights being used for all the workouts are very standard for crossfit workouts, and if anything, a little low in my opinion.  There are a ton of people complaining that the weights are too high (absolutely not too high for DH, or for any standard workout).  I am actually shocked that anyone would sign up to compete if they can not handle standard prescribed weights for workouts, but maybe Rick will end up doing better than we hoped!

So a little extra rooting for Rick this weekend would be appreciated  :)

He will have 3 workouts on Saturday and one on Sunday.  There is another workout on Sunday as well, but only the top 5 guy and top 5 girls make it to that one.
