I saw your post on fb about the 3-day. Maybe I am making this up, but do you have family in Tampa area? You know the walk there is in November. We had talked about doing Tampa this year and making a weeks vacation out of it. Two of the main people I walk for are not able to travel, and we wanted them to be able to come to the event, so we stuck with Atl. Just wanted to throw that out there! You could always come to Atlanta and walk with me!

I finally had a chance to read through your and Kara's replys from the other day last night. I am going to do it. Thank you so much for everything you told me I'm sure I will be asking more questions along the way. I found a meeting in my area next Thursday that I want to go to but I don't know if I will have anyone to watch Brynnie.
I just need to find someone to do it with. But I was actually considering emailing you if I can't find anyone here to see if I could join up with you in ATL. So that may happen. When is the walk there October? Thanks for the invite.
Oh and I have family in Naples so not too far from Tampa at all. If any of them are interested that may be a good option. Thanks.
Yay!!! I am excited for you and excited that Kara and I have recruited another! You are absolutely welcome to come walk with me! The Atlanta walk is October 21-23 & Tampa is the next weekend, 28-30. I have heard good things about the Tampa walk, plus you are pretty much guaranteed good weather.(which is a big plus!)
ps. I think it would be fine if you brought Brynn to the meeting. The ones I have been to are really relaxed, and if she was fussy I don't think it'd be a big deal to walk out and come back in if you needed to. They last about and hour and a half and they have a slide show with information and pictures and volunteers that talk about their personal story and experience. They also give out a dvd for you to watch and share with your family (pretty much guarantees tears) and other goodies!
