Works been REALLY busy the past few weeks for me. So I pop in from time to time during the day.

Plus I've been hitting up the Pets board a lot more.

I wish we had snow instead. It's just friggin cold here!

So embarrasing: this morning I was waiting for the train and it was so cold that my snot was freezing in my nose (HATE when this happens!) and my eyes started to water. Sat down on the train and wiped under my eye and my finger was black with mascara. Tried to wipe down both eyes and thought I was good.

Went to the bathroom first thing when I got into work and looked like I had to black eyes. D@mn new non-waterproof mascara!!

I've been a little busier at work, AW: Got a sweet raise/promo last Friday so it's been a little crazy over here.

Feels like there's a lot less people around here. Sucks.

I haven't been on much because of DH's health problems. We've been very busy with doctor's appts and tests. We're still waiting on the results on some of them so hopefully once they come back I'll be able to be on more. Unless they're bad....I'm still very scared.

Miss you girls though.

well they're pretty sure about the heart attack, but now we're trying to figure out what his other symptoms are from...if there's a lot of damage and what not. they haven't done a lot of exploring because of insurance, but we told them just to do them now because his health is more important than the hospital bills that may pile up.

I think a lot of us check in a lot, but there aren't always a lot of threads to comment on. Maybe it should be each of our new year's resolutions to start more new topics!

ETA: Even though we all go through our phases where we post like crazy, I think a lot of us refrain from being redundant which cuts down on posts.

DH surprised me and whisked me away Friday afternoon on a surprise trip up the coast... drove up highway 1 (left at 2pm) and worked our way up to Hearst Castle... but I'm back now!!!
