Uncork York
Now that my mind is on wine 
, have any of you done the Uncork York? It's happening this year March 5-27th (Saturdays & Sundays only). There's 13 wineries that participate and you pay $25/ticket. I was just curious if anyone has done this and if you recommend it.

Have never been there but it sounds amazing. I think I will have to look into this more.
Have you ever been to the Finger Lakes Wineries? I've been there quite some time ago but would love to go back and spend a few days there. I found a fabulous house to rent for like $150 a day with it's own private waterfall. BeautifuL!!
yes DH and I did uncork york in 2009.
its a lot of fun. you have every weekend to go, so its not like you have to do 10 wineries in one day haha.
they raised the price but it looks like you get a free wine glass which we didnt get and the discount is also new. that is a total bonus.
some of the wineries have food out and there were a few places where the food was better than the wine haha.
it was fun and i always recommend it to other couples but i personally wouldnt do it again. reason being, we found the wineries that we liked/didnt like. so we just skip doing the whole tour thing and go back to the ones on our favorite list. but if you havent been to a lot of local wineries its a great opportunity to check out the variety and find ones you DO like.
