Naming this child, however, is going to be hell. We need an act of Congress and a neutral party to agree on anything for a boy (we had actually decided on a girl name... which made me even more certain it would be a boy).

OK Britt, Midge, and the rest of you ladies in my neutral party... after much strategic list making, ranking, narrowing (and luckily no divorce- although it was hit or miss for a bit), I think we may have a name........................

If I was a single mom, we'd have a Jacob. If H was a alone in deciding, we'd have a Paxton. It took LOTS of lists, some hurt feelings, and compromise, but I think we found it. We are going to call him by name for a bit just to make sure. Gotta test drive it
