My FB give away

I know a lot of you are fans of my FB How Sweet It Is page, if you're not, become my fan!

I am going to be doing a a give away this weekend...but I don't know what to do to get people entered.

I was just going to have people leave a comment, and those all those people are the ones who get entered. I was thinking they have to leave a comment in regards to a question I ask. But now I don't know what question to ask.

Thoughts/Ideas?

Re: My FB give away

  • Also, what do you think about this:

If they blog about my goodies, they get a extra entry

If they FB stuatus to "like" my page they get an extra entry

  • How are you deciding the entry? Are you doing it via random.org? If you can get them to respond to a specific post you make that would be easiest for you to pick a winner, but people seem to have trouble following directions sometimes. The last time I did a FB contest I had trouble keeping track of people because they were leaving comments all over my wall and in response to other peoples wall posts when they were supposed to be leaving comments on the photo they wanted to win. I ended up having to make an excel sheet to organize everything. I also did one where they had to leave comments on a blog post, that was much easier to pick a winner randomly because everything was already in order.

    Yes.

And thank you for reminding me people can't follow directions.

  • I think asking a question and having them respond to that post would be a great idea.   I don't know about what question though...  if it's a Valentine's Day giveaway, how about something like "tell me about your best Valentine's day" or "what will you always choose first from a box of chocolates?" or something like that?

And I think the extra promotions for extra entries are great ideas too! :)
