Holy snow. And I love my neighbors.
So picture this scenario- we got about 8" today but the plows must have something in for us...bc the snow bank went up to my thigh at the end of the driveway.
Me: shovel in hand...pushing snow across driveway, being careful not to lift in a weird way or whatever...
One neighbor man (about 70 yrs old) sees me
Neighbor lady (also 70 yrs old- not his wife, another woman) sees me she yells YOUR pregnant, don't lift anything
her and neighbor man start helping
He tries to sno blow--cant make it through the boulders-- because like I said, they come up to my thigh, and I am 5'4"...
So then ANOTHER neighbor, from down the street comes by since neighbor man (the 70 yr old) lifted the boulders other neighbor was able to get his snow blower through....
So we have the best neighbors ever....I did barely anything, just light moving.
I am giving them baked goods. And Justin's home brew. and a lot of it.

Last year was DH was out of town, the teenager across the street came over to help me shovel. It was super sweet of him! Good neighbors are such a blessing.
That is so sweet! I love nice neighbors. Lol at your neighbor lady yelling at you because you're pregnant.
DH was out shoveling our driveway this weekend. The plows have created snow mountains in our front yard - no joke, they're taller than DH and he's 5'11, so I'm thinking they're at least 6ft tall. A neighbor that we've never met came over with his 4-wheeler and plow and plowed out our driveway. Definitely saved DH like 3 hours of work!

That's so awesome! I wish I had neighbors like that...would've saved my dad a trip last year to come bury me out of the ice and snow around my car and apartment. Geez.
I know what you mean! The piles by the side of the driveway where H & neighbors have shoveled are taller than me. Insane!!

someone snow-blowed (blew?) our driveway on tuesday. but we have no idea who it was to thank them, lol!
