Nice? Good quality? Worth the expense?
I went to the AT at Woodland with my sister today and found The Most Awesome Outfit. Caps intentional.
I didn't want to take it off! The top can go with jeans or the dress pants I had on. The sweater can go over the top, or over a simple tank. The pants are fully lined and the *perfect* length. Nice neutral color, flattering style. Seriously, I wanted to stand in the front of the store and hold a sale sign; I felt like a freaking mannequin.
Everything was on sale/clearance. But I'm a chicken about spending more than Old Navy prices on clothes, and kinda hate that about myself. I don't have an office job, but may very well need professional attire if my new venture comes to anything. This is an outfit I'll probably think about for years if I don't bite the bullet.
WWYD?
Re: Ann Taylor clothes
Buy it! If it's that perfect and every item is on sale, than I think you should go for it.
I've only bought one item from Ann Taylor, and oddly enough I was ridiculously excited about it. I was in need of a dressy skirt for work, but was challenged by fit and cost. Then I went to Ann Taylor and found The Perfect Skirt that fit me perfectly and was on clearance. Awesomeness.
I love AT and AT LOFT. If it's a big more expensive but it's more of a "staple" type peice then I think it's probably worth the added expense. You could also check out LOFT to see if they have similar pieces as they are less expensive.
Thank you! I think all pieces are pretty neutral in color and style. Nothing fad-like or too season-specific. I appreciate the input. And since I'm just at B&N "working" I will hop over there before we leave.
And then I will PIP myself when I get home.

I'm glad you're going to get it! I like the quality of their clothes, too. Definitely share a photo!

But now that I've had pizza and a glass of wine, I feel too flumpy to put it on. BUT I plan to wear it Sunday for church, and will have DH take a pic for sure. LOVE. Thanks again for all the "yes"s!
