What does your DH think about your Nesting? What does he think about you getting together with Nesties IRL?

DH cracks jokes at me all the time about it. In the evenings I lurk (sometimes post) from my phone when I am laying in bed. He usually says, "Are you on The Nest again?" I just say of course I am. He knows I love it.

He was hesitant at first when I told him that we were going to meet up with MO and her DH on our Honeymoon, but once he met them he was all for it and glad that we did. I only wish that I didn't live so far from everyone or I would love to do a GTG. Maybe a New England one in Boston or something.

By now Derek is pretty cool with all the Nesting/Knotting. He thinks nothing now of my GTGs as there have been quite a few. He was a bit hesitant when we triple dated w/ ringy/V/kaesha/Mr. kaesha but had a great time once we were there.

He pokes a bit of fun at me for it, but otherwise he doesn't mind me Nesting. He was also a little skeptical when I first suggested meeting up IRL with people. He's fine with it now, as I go out reasonably regularly with some of the London-based nesties. He just prefers that it's just the girls and he doesn't have to go.

Bahaha. Almost every day he asks me, "So what's new with the knotnestbump?" He knows quite a few of you by name now. He's quite tickled when I update him on your various sports affiliations like "Ohio State Sarah is pissed at the guys who sold their pants."

He gave me quite the side-eye at first regarding the GTGs but now he just laughs and asks, "Who's next on the ringy knot tour?" I mean, good grief, he's met kaesha, raynes (and their guys), kari and sreihing.

Speaking of which, he reminded me the other day that it's time for another triple date. And raynes, he says that it's Derek's turn to choose the place!

Kyle thinks I'm a little crazy for it, but I do most of my nesting at work so he's not around it that much. When I mentioned that there was a Chicago GTG in the works he definitely gave me a bit of a side eye as I've never been to a GTG before. I explained to him that I first ventured over to TK in August of 08 so I've been friends with a lot of the girls on here for 2.5 years now.

Jim teases occasionally about the Nesting, when I've been reading and posting and haven't heard a word he said, but mostly just ignores it.

He was really confused as to how I could spend three hours at dinner with "people I've never met before." I tried to explain to him that I met you all two years ago and have known you forever, but he doesn't get it.

Trey jokes w/ me about it but he doesn't mind at all. A lot of times, he'll say "Ask the Nesties what they think about that." He's gone to one couples gtg with me, but has met quite a few of the other nesties that I've become friends with. And he got to meet Mandee and Rebaann the other night when he picked me up from dinner!

We actually had a long talk about the Nest on our car ride to DC. We talked about how close we get to the girls on here, how most of us "known" each other for a long time now and are there for each other in the best and worst of times.

oh, Sean thinks it's effing weird. he's never been part of an Internet group like this before, and I guess it IS strange from that POV, but he's cool with it. he makes fun of me for it ALL the time, but it's nothing mean spirited.

he's cool with the GTGs. I think he was nervous about meeting Krystyna & her hubs, but he was cool once they started talking about football nonstop.

Eric thinks it's interesting and you guys do come up in conversation. When Rebann's sister was on Jeopardy and I explained why it was important to cheer her on. Everyone became more real to him.

This for the most part. B really just doesn't get it, but it's kinda funny, because one of our closest couples friends I met on TK and B now works with her. He was really confused by our GTG a year a half ago where he briefly met Raynes, MO and Krystina. I think his exact words may have been something like, "explain why you have to go meet these people again..." He's much more accepting of it now, but I don't think he actually gets it. That being said, last night when I told him that one of the nestie's DH's (Kyle) raises cattle and we should talk to them about a cow we want to share with some friends next year, he was like, ok, that's cool. Now I just need to work on convincing him that you ladies should crash at our place for our next Chicago GTG.

Russ is never around when I nest. When he's home I stay away mostly so I can spend time with him. I haven't had a GTG with anyone. There are times when I mention something that has come up (like Jeopardy) but he has no idea what I'm talking about and kind of zones out.

DH teases me about how much time I spend nesting, but he gets that I'm here because I've bonded with you all.

I've gone to one GTG and though he thought it was a little weird, he was fine with it.

Well I've just recently gotten back to nesting, but when I was on the knot DH was completely okay with it. Every time I had a question or needed an idea you girls were there to ask and he knows I appreciated that since it's not like he was being much help! As for GTG's, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about his opinion on that (although I'm sure he'd be fine with it) because all of you live so far away

Since everything happened with the triplets and how awesome you guys have been he feels like you guys are all real people, he even asks about you guys almost daily.

Before then he was like "how are the naughties?" He was amused by my need to talk to you all daily .

Mark is accepting of my nesting. I haven't had any nest GTGs but I have met a friend off a music bored before and he's okay with it as long as I'm safe.

DH has accepted my nesting. He likes that I will nest when he plays video games. He isn't crazy about get-togethers...but then, he isn't crazy about getting together with my friends that we already know IRL...he is a stick in the mud that way. He'll come though if the opportunity ever arises...and he would be happy to have people come here--it is going out that makes him whiney...

He's actually come around a bit since he met Sushi and her H in London. I think that made it a little more real.

this confirms my prior beliefs that our Hs would be BFF. Sean's favorite line is "oh, excuse me while I go post this on the NEST to my NESTIES. oh those crazy NESTIES, they really know their stuff."
