What's everyone up to this weekend? For me, it's a lot busier than last weekend!
Friday: Heading to my hometown tonight for a Pure Romance party with some girlfriends, and then a night on the town.
Sat: Seeing my parents for a few hours, heading home, hopefully not nursing a hangover.
Sunday: Watching the Bears/Packers game with my brother and SIL. (They live nearby). Brother and his wife are Bears fans. DH is a packers fan. Should be a good time!

Re: Weekend Plans
Well, being on call the whole weekend. Praying i don't get paged out often.
Tonight: cleaning, cooking, baking.
Tomorrow: Working at 6am for hopefully only a few hours, working also at 8pm hopefully only 1 hour. More cleaning/organizing throughout the day
Sunday: Working at 7:30 am, hopefully only 1 hour. Hopefully also getting a visit from my family (my sister from Poland is coming home today to visit w/ her hubby and new baby!) as well. I would visit them, but i have to be within like 10 feet of my computer at all times. My job stinks.
Monday: beign VERY happy to be off pager!!! lol ---- though not technically the weekedn. i have to go into work.

I am a gluten-free, gun-toting wife! :P
I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
Today/Tonight: we have another snow day, so I will be hanging out with DH til he goes to work at 2, then some chores-laundry, dishes, cleaning.
Saturday: grocery shopping, and hanging out with some friends
Sunday: a friend's baby shower and then birthday cake/dinner at my dad's
FRI: Shoveled snow this morning, and then I'm putting away all our Christmas tree ornaments. DH took them all off the tree and laid them all over the flor in the dining room because he wanted the tree down... and left them for me to put away. Thanks Hubs. I also want to give puppy a bath
Going to cycling at 5:30 and then going out with some long-lost friends/college teammates tonight. Including one of my very best friends who is now in the USCG and in town for the weekend
SAT: Taking puppy to Puppy Kindergarten! Hoping to get in a swim before or afterwards, and possibly taking puppy to walk the trail with a good friend and her dog. In the afternoon I'm going to the senior/alumnae swim meet at my alma mater (college) and then we have the alumnae swimmer reunion... going out to an early dinner/drinks with our coach. Then babysitting the kids I used to nanny for.
SUN: Taking pup to the trail with said friend and her dog. Hopefully working out at some point (maybe the 8AM cycling). And then housework or being lazy with pup and watching football. Most likely lazy.
We actually have NO plans for this weekend!! I think it's a miracle! I'll finally be able to just relax and hang with my husband - what a concept!
We will probably spend a decent amount of time this weekend searching and applying for jobs in Atlanta.
Also at some point this weekend we need to get our talk for marriage prep written. I don't remember if I told you guys, but our priest asked us if we'd like to be involved in this year's marriage prep class. Of course we said yes! Initially we were only supposed to be there to help facilitate table discussions and provide a newlywed point of view. But now, they've asked us give a talk - financial communication!! haha. I actually think it will be good - rather than having a couple who have been married for years, established in their jobs, own homes, etc. it will be good for the couples to hear from someone who was just in their shoes...in a similar situation as them. I think they'll be able to relate so much better. Anyway, I'm excited and nervous - the class is next weekend!!
Today: Finish writing my guard show, go have pizza with the guard girls (who are having a sleepover at the guard captain's house) and teach them thier show makeup
Saturday: rehearsal 9-3 thanks to the non-existent snow that cancelled 2 rehearsals and cost us 6 hours of pracitce time. Then running about 8 million errands and going to church.
Sunday: driving up to PA to see the in-laws. DH's and FIL's birthdays are both this month and this was the only time we would be able to meet up with them to celebrate. all day thing, despite the (realtively) short drive.
Monday my classes start, and I was hoping to relax for the weekend before the craziness began again, but alas.
Tonight we're going to a friend's orchestra concert. They're playing a piece I used for my ceremony music, and I love it!
Tomorrow, I'm cleaning the apartment and getting ready to have people over at night. We're having an Iron Chef party, where everybody brings a dish with a "secret ingredient" and we vote on the best ones. Our theme is potatoes this time.
Sunday, I'm watching my Steelers! And church and I have dance rehearsals starting up again for my company.
This weekend we are staying at MILs house taking care of her four dogs while she is away on vacation. Not going well so far.. H stayed here last night, and I have been here for three hours and already the dogs are driving us nuts (they are so poorly behaved), a neighbor (strange guy) knocked on the door and asked for money, and best of all, just a few minutes ago someone knocked on the door three different times, all fairly softly, and we didn't hear anyone walk off the porch. We are both so uncomfortable and now I am afraid to go to sleep.
Otherwise, tomorrow I have an appointment for a massage and we are going to a hockey game. Sunday my sister is hosting a Pampered Chef party.
But I will be so happy when Tuesday finally gets here.
Sorry girls. Somehow I sent it and wasn't finished and then when I tried to delete it right away, it said the time had expired to delete it. Anyway, let's hope the weekend gets better from here!!! At least no one was hurt in the accidenet.
Packing, cleaning, and more packing this weekend to move to our house. Game night at a friend's house tomorrow and volleyball on Sunday. My mom is coming over to help me clean out and pack. Closing in one week!!! :-)
Boring weekend for me. DH is helping out youth ministry retreat at our church, but I couldn't go because I have WAY too much work to do with classes and lesson planning. So my weekend will look like this:
Grading, planning, grading, planning, writing reaction papers, grading, reading, grading, lesson planning, and more grading.
fun fun. :-/
