That f*****g WBC is at is again.
This week in Baltimore Country we lost a volunteer firefighter in a terrible apartment fire. The details of his death were pretty horrific b/c he was trapped alive and no one could get to him. This story has really bothered me personally as my dad and all of my mothers brothers are in the City fire department. My brother, his GF and my BIL are also county volunteer firefighters and knew the victim. This brave and courageous man who gave his life to save another for no pay is now being targeted by the WBC. They've issuesd a statement saying they are going to picket his funeral. Why you ask? Because apparently God hates Baltimore?!?!?
Here is an excerpt from their twisted news release:
"We have warned you many times, Baltimore: you?re messing with the wrong God. The LORD our God alone kills and makes alive; you disobey and rebel against Him and serve your false gods and goddesses at your peril! Because you refuse to heed, and instead persecuted the servants He sent to warn you, you have the blood of this dead volunteer firefighter on your hands. God is raging mad, He?s on the move, and your final destruction is imminent! Shortly now this nation will be wholly consumed, shaken with unprecedented fury & dropped into the ocean like the disgusting mass of filth it has become in eyes of the Lord your God."
WTF is wrong with these people?? I hope there is a special place in hell for them.

I'm really sorry you're going through this. As someone who's been in your shoes, you have every right to be angry.
I only hope that they're just blowing hot air like they did for Tucson. Apparently it's become a bit of a track record. THey're riding in on the backs of other people's news. Maybe they'll get more air time out of this.
A lot of people were talking about picketing the picketers. As much as I want to do even worse to these WBC people, I feel like the best weapon against them is to just ignore their existence.
