I was cutting up a head of broccoli and started to feel like I was breaking apart the giant tree of Na'vi in Avatar. Kinda started to feel bad.
Anyone else? *crickets*
Re: Random Thought
Haha!
My random thought is summed up in my FB status :
"Took carrots out to my giant 4-legged babies
) They missed me! Nugget
behaved and did well
) Lucy has lost her mind with the toy hedgehog my
mom got here, the cats are fighting IN the bathtub AND we're getting
ANOTHER dog tomorrow. . . let the mayhem begin!
)"
Oh. .and now Lucy has found the small hole on the couch and is trying to pull stuffing out. . Oy!
I always feel that way about broccoli. If only isn't wasn't so good for you and tasty maybe I would really feel bad!
My random thought: Why is the office visit cost before insurance for my family doctor twice as much than my dermatologist or my gynecologist? This is not factoring in any tests or procedures... just the list price for them to talk to me for 10 minutes!
Makes me want to find a new family doctor.
You should! I am not into Sci-Fi type things at all, but it was a really good movie. Our neighbors described it as a mix between Terminator and Titanic. Just be warned it might make you feel bad for cutting broccoli!
My random thought-
I went to the allergist yesterday-turns out part of my problem is a moderate to significant allergy to cats. See siggy
But what I can't get out of my head is what the dr. said when discussing the cats. I said they were 2 years old and is he like "oh no, you are going to be stuck with them for years" Really...."stuck with them" !!!! Not appropriate. He then proceeded to talk about how long cats live and families of kids with allergies and he's just waiting for those cats to "go". I was floored.
Okay maybe this wasn't a random thought, it was more like a vent! oops!
Yowzer. I "might" consider looking for a new allergist then! I'm allergic to cats (and dogs) and I volunteer at the cat shelter AND had a cat. I told the allergist I had a cat and he just replied that "so many do." Eventually I do start to develop an immunity to the cats I own (i've been allergic to them for years and have had 2 over the course of my life.) Cat is one of the 3 allergy shots I get....
Yeah, I knew part of my allergy problems were cats, I just didn't know it was as bad as it is. They told me to banish them from at least the bedroom, and get a hepa air filter, so I'm going to try that. The banish part is going to be hard, they love our bedroom.
BTW- Terp it's been a while love the pic of Terp puppy. He's a cutie!
