T&P- Updated
My grandfather passed last night after a long battle with bone cancer. I was able to make it up in time to see him but my mom (his daughter) was not. In fact, she and my stepdad are stuck in Jamaica and as of now can't get a flight out until Monday afternoon. The funeral is Monday morning. Please keep my family, especially my mom, in your thoughts. I haven't been able to talk to her but she was able to call my aunt. Obviously my mom is devastated.
Update:
Thank you all for the thoughts. The funeral was nice and personal and it was really cold but a pretty day. I was holding it together until my cousin got up to sing. It was hard being by myself, my mom and stepdad didn't make it home in time and Jason wasn't able to get off work. It was a very long weekend, I drove over 1200 miles from Friday until Monday. My mom made it home late last night and is headed up to my Grandma's this morning. My Grandma, Aunt and mom are going to the gravesite today.
I'm kind of rambling, sorry for that.

I finally talked to my mom yesterday and the only flight they could get is Monday at 2. The funeral can't be pushed back so she is just going to go up to my grandparent's when ahe gets home Tuesday.
