Picture of your house

What does your house look like inside/out?  I would love to get an idea of what I am looking for in a house.  There's a real big possibility that we might be moving down to the Cincy/N.Kentucky area.  If so we will be looking in Cincinnati and surrounding cities.  Maybe even northern Kentucky.  I'm not really familiar with the area.  His sister and bil are from the Hamilton area, and we have been there a couple of times but just not too sure but other surrounding areas.

Have you ever seen that HGTV commercial where the couple are looking at the neighborhood at night time and they get caught looking.  I want something like that.  That would be nice also if there really is a neighborhood like that down there.

Re: Picture of your house

  • Sibcy Cline's site is a great place for the voyeuristic homebuyer... we used this site a lot when we were house hunting, and I've used it a few times since to check out the houses for sale in our new neighborhood. Also, if you use the google street  view, you might be able to do a virtual tour of some neighborhoods.

Semi-related: I used to live up near where you are when I was a kid...and I recently used the "bird's eye" view of Bing maps to check up on my old house (St. Claire Shores), it was pretty fun & nostalgic.

  • I also like Realtor.com for looking for houses.

  • There are several small, quiet communities where I think random people walking around at night gawking would be noticed.  Madeira, Terrace Park, Mariemont, Indian Hill come to mind.  I am ure the other ladies can mention more.
