My husband and I make it a priority to have a date night every week. Since the area we live in is not huge we run out of things to do and are trying to find ways to keep date night fun and exciting without breaking the bank.
So I have two questions for you...How often do you and your husband have a date night? and What are some great date night ideas? Thanks in advance!

Re: Date Night....
That is such a fabulous idea Erin! I think we will try that out and see how it works for us.
So I voted once a month, but I would call that date night like a nice dinner out and a movie or something. We usually do dinner out maybe once a week, but something simple, less than $30. Sometimes we try to make a moment of it, sometimes it's with friends, and sometimes we're just exhausted (hence not cooking at home).
Once a week though, usually a weekend night, we'll cook a really nice dinner and try to make it a mini date night and open a bottle of wine, or get some really good beer, maybe a movie on Netflix or some Scrabble... haha! I swear we're not 80.
Our date night for this week is going to be Wednesday, and we're going out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with a gift card we got for Christmas, then coming back home - I stopped at VS the other day and picked up something very red, short, and see through that he'll get to play with.
Our date nights are usually few and far between since we both work odd hours (I'm part time bookstore and library, he's part time server), but for Christmas we asked for gift cards to various restaurants and the movie theater so we can go out a little easier once our schedules mesh. Otherwise we've been known to play games over here - either on the wii or board games - drink wine, lounge on the couch, etc. He made dinner a few nights ago, and gave me a massage, which was fantastic since I'd just gotten off a 14 hour shift between both jobs.
