What are your feelings about...( fashion related)
Knee socks ? I bought some in Santa Cruz and I really like them, but don't know if they are stylish/ Joe to wear them. I'd like to wear them so you can see them, but don't want to look too school girl... HELP
Re: What are your feelings about...( fashion related)
I wear them all the time with shorts and dresses. Some options:
-wear them in booties and then scrunched up to your calves
-wear them with tall boots and pull them up to right under your knee (you can do this with or without tights)
-wear them with flats (this could be a little school girl-ish depending on what you wear it with)
Do a google search and type in knee high socks or that with fashion and you'll get some more ideas.
Tea Time for Lulu
Love them every way. Under pants, with skirts, above boots... a few years ago J-Crew had on their catalog a really fancy black dress full skirt, with tulle underneath that was about tea length I think paired with knee high argyle socks and I LOVE IT. I think I bought all their socks that year :-)
I love them but don't wear them for all the same reasons you're worried.
That being said, there are an awful lot of men into the school-girl look so really the worst that would happen is men would look at you and drool (more). And women would either be jealous of you for getting attention or wonder if knee-high socks are in and should they be wearing them.
Women don't want to hear what men think,
women want to hear what they think, in a deeper voice
