Vibes needed, please
I need vibes for my grandma. She's been having some medical issues lately, some of which I won't get in to here, but she is basically on a liquid diet since her body won't let her digest much, which leads to other problems. She had this issue before we got married, but no one told me about it because they didn't want to "upset" me before the wedding (like I'm 12 or something). Anyway, she's been going for test after test for months now, and they can't figure out what's wrong. Then, about 3 weeks ago, she sat in her chair and felt a pop in her back, followed by intense pain. After an MRI, they found out she'd fractured her spine. She waited 2 more weeks before they could get her an appointment to fix it. Finally Friday, she got a call from the doctor who said she's got an appointment for this coming Thursday. They're going to fuse the fractures in her spine together to make the pain go away.
Through all this, all we've heard is that she's tired of being in pain and ready to die - just giving up. She's been in a depressive slump for months, which is totally not the grandma I know and love. Any vibes you could send her way would be wonderful, as I know they work - look at all the magic you worked on the Knot! I'm going to go visit her this afternoon with mom, so hopefully we can cheer her up a bit - she's counting down the days to Thursday and seemed a bit brighter to mom last night on the phone. Now if only we could get the other issue fixed.
