coffeemaker tragedy update

If you missed the first post, our coffeemaker stopped working last Sunday - it doesn't suck up water anymore. So I contacted the manufacturer. They are going to replace it! Our model is still available in stores, but not from the manufacturer. So, we get to pick out a new one. If we want to upgrade, we'll have to pay the difference, but they have lots in the price range of the one we have.

We've been brewing two pots in our 4-cup coffeemaker every morning. I knew we kept it for a reason. I do plan on picking up a coffee press if I can ever make it to the store. It would be yummy for afternoon coffee. I have become accustomed to programmable coffeemakers in the mornings. I have actually considered putting the programmable coffeemaker by my bed so that I don't even have to get up to get my first cup. Only problem is that then, I'd need to use a little fridge as a nightstand so that I could have my liquid creamer within reach, too.
