Chicago GTG Ladies....

As Jason and I have never been, we were hoping to do a "food tour" Saturday afternoon sometime.  Would anyone be interested in joining?

Re: Chicago GTG Ladies....

  • I would!!!!! I'm seriously trying to find a way to make it work. Flights are ridiculously expensive (almost $800!), but I figure I could drive there and back for half that. So, I just gotta come up with some $$$ and convince Jonathan to take 4 days off work and bank up my "weekend hours" so I can take 4 days off too!

40 hours of driving is totally worth it to hang out with you beautiful, wonderful ladies for a weekend!

  • Are the husbands going too?

  • Don't know if all the girls' husbands are going.... but Jason's coming (and maybe my brother to keep him company when I'm hanging out with you lovelies!)  Jason's never been to Chicago either, and was pretty much the only way I could visit a bunch of "strangers" Stick out tongue

  • Brit - YAY and lol at Jason being concerned about us strangers. Matt  was more concerned about me getting a hotel in downtown Chicago by myself and was put to ease when I told him I would be sharing (even though I stay by myself all.the.time for work).

Kendra - We would love to have you if you can swing it Smile

Jaime - I think most of the husbands are staying home.

  • Jo, we're setting up the swing! Haha!

Jonathan will be coming cuz we'd be driving and that's waaaay too far to go myself. J & J can have a boy's night Smile

  • I would probably be up for it at least part of the time. I may duck out to do something else for a bit so I can visit with everyone but I think it sounds fun. Are you thinking like a progressive dinner type thing or something else?

I vote that if anyone wants to come and you think that you can convince your hubby to make a trip out of it then you should do it. I don't care if hubbys come. It would be nice to meet them to. (Though they would probably be freaked out by how much we all know about them. haha) Same applies to babies as far as I'm concerned.

Jeff will be coming down for a couple hours to bring Brynnie to meet everyone but other than that he will be at home.

  • Brit, I didn't know you were coming. How did I miss this?

    Is it March yet???
