QOTD

We know that all of us always RSVP to weddings, but are you good about RSVPing to showers, parties, etc that ask for an RSVP?

Re: QOTD

  • I used to be HORRIBLE. Since the wedding I make sure to RSVP to everything.
  • If it's a paper invitation that comes in the mail, then yes, I'm good.  If it's a FB event, I'm pretty bad, and if it's an invite via e-mail, I usually forget.

  • Ditto.  I used to be pretty bad, but now I make sure that I RSVP early.

  • I used to be really bad, but since the wedding I try to RSVP (with the exception of FB invites), in a timely manner.

  • With showers, I'm pretty bad and there have been multiple occasions where the host had to call me to ask. Embarrassed But that's because I hate showers and always wait till the very last minute to see if any excuse comes up that allows me to decline. EmbarrassedEmbarrassed

For other stuff I'm pretty good. I may not respond the minute I get the invitation, but always by the deadline.

  • I never used to be until I experienced wedding planning and how horrible it was to not have a yes or no answer from people. now I make sure to RSVP to everything that comes in paper form. if it's something on FB like a party or something that doesn't necessarily need a headcount, I usually just hit "maybe." haha

  • I'm usuall pretty good about it if they ask for an RSVP.  Except for FB or evites that are obviously sent to a mass group, then I don't feel too obligated (although I will generally respond yes if I plan to go and ignore it otherwise)

  • For the most part I usually do RSVP, especially if it's something formal. For other invites like on fb I usually forget to do so.

  • I'm pretty good about it because I get excited about the wedding/shower and usually can go. The only time I didn't RSVP on time was when H wasn't invited (which, being a long term couple, was a no-no). It ended up not mattering because the wedding was called off--she wanted a bigger ring and wanted him to move to another state away from his son. So I don't feel bad about that one time.
  • I'm usually good about weddings or big events. Otherwise, I pretty much suck at RSVPs. I hate having to call people, so if there's an email address, they usually get a response from me faster.

  • I'm pretty good at RSPVing if it's a paper invite. Also, like snoopy, I tend to respond more quickly if there is an email RSVP option.
  • I am now. Before I used to take my sweet time to reply, but now I reply as soon as I know whether I can make it or not, definitely before the reply by date.

  • I'm really good for big events like weddings. For smaller things like birthday parties, I could use some improvement!

  • Great with wedding invites - like Ringy, I'm terrible with shower invites.
  • I'm usually pretty good...though the other day I got an invite to a weird apartment warming party thing. On the invite was a suggested list of gifts--down to the kind of plants that were acceptable. It was for a girl I went to high school with. Totally tacky--I just didn't respond.
