If you need a way to spend your afternoon...
Re: If you need a way to spend your afternoon...
Don't listen to these evil heifers. It's YOUR day, you should totally do what YOU want. If your family wants a high class restaurant they can pay for it themselves! That's what I told my husband when he wanted to have our after-ceremony-meal-that-wasn't-a-reception at Red Lobster. I don't have that kind of money to spend on the people who raised and loved me my entire life! They should understand that it's MY DAY. But don't forget that the REAL reception in March doesn't count as a reception unless you also have a money tree and a cash bar. Oh and you have to have a SUPER big entrance. Preferably with camels or elephants or something. Watch Super Sweet 16 for some great ideas!!

Omg, Red Lobster? Um, they better be paying for themselves at that place! I can honestly not tell if you are poking fun at me or are being totally serious. I do not like that Sweet 16 shows because I think the kids are spoiled brats.

BAHAHAHA, OP didn't know if Nugget was being serious!? This whole thing is getting ridiculous. You know, I was supposed to have a productive day of actually finally unpacking our clothes. But now here I am.

Last response I swear: When she said Golden Corral I gigglesnorted. Then I felt guilty because everyone was like, don't judge her for her location, but then I was like, wait, it's Golden Corral. You can eat there for ten bucks and get food poisoning. Ehhhhhh...
And the post about the taxes, that was pretty random. Especially about the part about leaving a child unattended in a car, which, last I checked, has nothing to do with taxes.
She might have a point: I'm excited about our refund (for the most part) but I'm not bragging about it on Facebook.

haha I love when regs are super sarcastic just to mess with them.
I wanted to shake my screen when she kept saying, "it's NOT a reception...our reception is in march with the bouquet toss and dancing!" haha
OK, that's so dumb. It's $10, everyone knows it. If they just showed up without calling ahead, which you don't need to do with 14 people b/c the seating area is HUGE, she would pay $10/head.
She said the guy said it was $25 when the party was over 20 people... but she said over and over that she was only having 14 people. So, which is it lady?
I read later they're not doing GC, they're doing sit down at a restaurant instead, which she said before her family was uncomfortable with. Again, which is it?
There's a lot of holes in her story. She might be a troll, but for all that was invested in that, I hope she's not. It was a boring Sunday that I had time to think about this so much.
