How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
What time do you get up in the morning?
I was hoping to get up at 6:00 but have found that doesn't get me at work when I want to be here...so I'm thinking 5:30 but my word that is early.
Re: Working Moms
This is me as well. However with that said, I don't have to bring the boys to DC. My mother takes care of the boys during the day so I am fortunate that I don't have to do to much with them in the mornings.
I have to get up at 6am in order to get myself and Ridley ready in the morning. I have to drop her off at daycare and be at work at 8am (I am still late sometimes). Keep in mind that she eats breakfast at daycare so I really just need to prod her out of bed (not as easy as it sounds), brush her teeth and get her dressed.
When I was nursing, I had to get up at 5:30am.
I am asleep by 10pm (sometimes earlier).
OMG, Molly STTN already!?! That's amazing in itself
I go to bed around 10-10:30 and I get up at 5:30-5:45 to be out the door at 6:15-6:20 at the latest. I usually lay in bed at 5:30 and plan what I'm going to wear so I can be speedy. I set the coffee the night before and DH makes sandwiches.
Luckily DH takes Luke to DC in the morning and I do the picking up. DH doesn't have to be to work until 9 and if he's late its no biggie, so he gets morning duty.
I can't imagine with BF-ing/pumping, etc. I didn't work when I was BF-ing (or I worked later in the day).
I know! We're so lucky! She started the night before I went back to work..over a month ago!

Most nights I'm in bed by 9, asleep by 10. If it's a night where I work OT in the am, then I try to get to bed right after I put Taylor down. So in bed by 8 and reading for a bit. If I'm working OT at night, it's around 1045 before I'm asleep.
OT mornings I'm up at 520 and out the door at 545. Chris takes care of Taylor and drops her off at daycare. On mornings there is not OT, I'm up at 620 and shower/dress. Waking up Taylor at 650 and head downstairs for bottle etc. We leave around 735 to get to daycare and work on time.
Everynight I bag the next days diapers and lay out Taylor's clothes. It works for us but mornings go by fast no matter what.
I go to bed anywhere form 10 to 11:30- though 10:30 would be ideal. My clock alarm goes off at 7:30, though the James alarm goes off at 7 plenty of days. James STTN about half of the time, and the rest of the time he's up once or twice, only briefly. I also have to deal with DH getting up a little before 6, which is annoying to be woken up early.
I try to be in the office at 9- though it rarely happens. We leave around 8:45 most days and then get to daycare just in time for breakfast for James and then I walk to the office 10 minutes away.
I remember adding in nursing and/ or getting together infant stuff really added to the time required in the morning and I had to get up earlier and/ or I was in later most days.
