For my MA/NH/RI girls out there, did you hear about our next storm this week? Anyone else in New England sick of the winter already? I haven't worked a full week of school since the week that we can back from Christmas Vacation. The joke around my house now is that I will be celebrating July 4th in the classroom

Re: Ok seriously....
Mike and I were talking about this. I have heard a few different things. Yesterday was 20-40 inches. Today I saw no more than 10. I dont mind the snow so much as the frigid cold!

YUP! I agree! I'm getting tired of staying home and I never thought I would say that! I want to have a break before summer program starts up! If the snow days continue I think we will have to push summer program into August in order to get a break in between! Tomorrow we have a teacher's workshop, then we students will be back on Tuesday. Snow coming on Wednesday probably have a delay on Thursday! So students will be back in school for only around 2 1/2 days this week. They were only in 1 1/2 last week days last week. Then I wonder why they look at me like I have four heads when I ask them to do regular morning routine in the classroom! How can they possibly know what the routine is when we're hardly ever in school?
However, I also agree that I like the snow rather than the frigid cold. It's pretty bad when you're outside and you're pretty sure that your eyeballs are beginning to freeze! (If that even makes sense! LOL!) Now I am just ranting, so I'll end it there!

I seriously am so jealous. The first storm you all got I was so excited for. And when it finally made its way out west I was so giddy!
Not even for snow days. just snow.
Now they keep calling for flurries and nothing. it is jan and it is 60 degrees. I'm so upset I can barely take it. Usually I'm burried under feet of snow. I like the nice weather.. but again.. Jan-ua-ary.. wtf!!!
This snow is getting ridiculous. Thankfully Dave will be around to get me to work. But I'm REALLY hoping we don't get as much as they're saying.
They also issued a wind chill warning. I guess it's going to get to be -10 tonight, and with the wind it's supposed to be a lot worse. I guess I'll be snuggling up with some blankets. And hopefully work is warm tomorrow.

I just keep telling myself that it has to warm up to snow and right now 30 degrees sounds so much better than the -12 it was today.
