I always knew my sister wasn't the brightest bulb out there...when she needed to order her BM dress (online) she tried measuring herself with a solid ruler, when I asked her if playing YMCA at the reception was cheesy, she responds that the YMCA could be a nice place for a reception. When one of her (also apparently not smart) friends asked her if a painting on her wall was a real Monet she actually had to think about it and said she wasn't sure (and she was SERIOUS). So she is not smart.
Here is her latest idiot move: Ken and I are thinking of getting a Wii. She and her husband want to get rid of hers (they've had it about 2 years) I told her we would pay her something for it. She tells me that they want at least enough to get a new xbox. Really? For a used Wii? I think we are going to pass on that sweet deal.
Re: My sister is a complete idiot
That entire first paragraph just cracked me up. I had to read it out loud to DH. The YMCA thing killed me.
Bogus about the Wii though. She wants "at least" enough for a new xbox? As in she's hoping to make a profit off this deal? If my sister pulled that, I'd probably punch her.

The first part of your post cracked me up! Especially the ruler thing. I could laugh about that now, but during wedding planning I probably would have wanted to slap her! Now trying to make a profit on a used WII! Whaaaaat??
And the ruler....classic.
Your sister is too funny. I laughed the first time you posted about the ruler. But I think I laughed even harder this time. haha.
Maybe you should give her $75 or whatever and tell her you saw one online for that price.. maybe she would believe you. (I'm going to hell for actually saying this. hah)
seriously, thank you for the laugh. Too funny!
Is her DH the same way?
And as a side note, I think a Wii is a great investment! DH got one last Christmas ('09) and we love it!!

Wow! That's pretty hilarious.
We got a Wii for a wedding gift and LOVE it. We play almost everyday. We got the Wii Fit package and Chavis does his Yoga every morning (don't tell him I told you!)
Seriously, you should check out Craigslist and also Gamestop. I'm not sure how much you're trying to spend but I found a used one for $120
