Anyone got anything good?

Because I don't. Definitely couldn't crawl out of bed this morning and therefore, was running late.

This weekend was okay. I was in and out of consciousness (thanks to benedryl) when I woke up with a sore throat/runny nose so inbetween sleepy and watching episodes of Smallville, I did nothing.

Sunday I was a ball of energy and cleaned some then made a hat/hoodie/whatever you want to call it for a friend and it turned out super cute. I need to figure out how to PIP.

And now Monday....blah...

Re: Anyone got anything good?

  • good morning--spent the end of last week and all weekend in texas for work.  had fun with my friend and it was nice to change things up, but i am POOPED!

woke up this am to -25...my car didn't want to start!  took three tries and the full 30 minutes of me driving to work for the car to finally warm up.  high today of 1.

really busy at work today and have a lovely killer headache.

  • Nothing too exciting here.  We went out last night for Restaurant Week and it was AMAZING, so that was awesome.  We're already thinking about where to go next before the deal runs out.

Yesterday the pipe behind our washer started leaking, flooding our pantry, which was super fun.  It happened a lot when we first moved in, but it hasn't happened in a while.  It took over an hour for the emergency maintenance guy to show up (after getting pissy with me on the phone) and then he had to ask me why I thought it happened, and what they usually do to fix it.  After all that he did nothing, and said he'd report it to the regular guys the next morning (today).  I reiterated that usually they put sodrox in the pipe, and that there was a lot of water and if often happens multiple times, but he just peaced out.  A-hole.

Maintenance hasn't been by yet so I wonder if he even reported it.  What a waste of oxygen.  My dining room is full of all of the stuff I emptied out of the pantry, and I'm not supposed to use the washer until they clear the line, so I would really appreciate it if they would come sooner rather than later.

  • Nothing good here either. I've had a 3 day on-and-off migraine thanks to my period. I'm ready to remove my right temple just to get rid of the damn thing.

We didn't do much this weekend. We were supposed to go to a concert with H's parents on Saturday but H and his dad are both sick so we didn't go. Sunday we ended up going to his brothers house for cake and ice cream. Both of H's nephews and his dad have birthdays within 5 days of each other so we just celebrated all at once. My accounting class is evil. I spent 10 hours total this weekend on homework.

I get to spend the next two days in NJ for work. I'm driving up with a coworker at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow, spending all day in an operational meeting, going to the hotel and doing a ton of homework, and then going back to the office for an all day training session. Since the weather is supposed to crappy in NJ on Wednesday, I'm sure it will take us a good 5-6 hours to get home.

Yeah, I'm a bit whiney today.

  • I had a lovely, lazy Saturday, and yesterday, I got together with some Knotties/Nesties in Philadelphia.  It was a small group - just seven of us - but we had a great time!

  • This weekend was pretty normal, but low key. I skated Saturday morning early and then just hung out the rest of the day with DH. We ended up going out for dinner to fabulous restaurant in our area that we had forgotten about. Yesterday DH worked allll day so I slept in, cleaned, did laundry, and made a huge pot of creamy chicken wild rice soup. Then skated for a few hours and attempted not to freeze solid.

School was cancelled here on Friday because of the temperatures and I don't even want to look at the temperature today.

  • Nothing super exciting this weekend. Friday H worked until 11pm so me and my bff went on a date to a nice restuarant. Then Saturday my mom got back from her week long vacation so I went to her house and to dinner so we could catch up. Then Sunday H was off work so we got up and went to eat breakfast, then i convinced him to go to Bed Bath & Beyond, (which he found like a billion little gadget things he wants), then we went to his parents house and hung out for alittle bit and somehow we got to talking about our George Forman grill and H invited them to come to our house for dinner that night. lol But we went to the grocery store on our way home while they got ready then they met us at our house and we made steaks, mac and cheese, and green beans. And played a board game called Sequence. Overall a very fun and relaxed weekend.

  • Weekend was decent - took the day off Friday to relax, finish my book, get a pedicure (you know, important things!).  My parents & sis came up Saturday for dinner and then Sunday was spent finishing up laundry, doing a bit of unpacking (we STILL have boxes in the dining room) and watching football.

Went to the hospital this morning for a blood test & a shot.  Whole shebang was supposed to take an hour.  2 1/2 hours later, I was finally on my way to work.  Blech.  And now my butt hurts from the shot.  Double blech.

Hoping that this monster storm they're predicting for later in the week dumps a couple of feet of snow.  Even if I can't go play in it, it's just pretty.  And not having to work would be a good bonus too Stick out tongue

You have no idea how hard I'm praying for a snow day!  Although I'm starting to lose faith in the weather people.  Every time a system comes through they predict huge snow/ice accumulations and then it either hits north or south of us and I'm stuck going to work while everyone else is snowed in and cozy. :-P

I have a killer headache this morning, too, and I'm super grumpy.  I could have used about 16 extra hours of sleep today.

This weekend was okay.  Nothing special.  We were kinda lazy.  Saturday we slept in and then K watched TV all day while I ready three books.  We cooked balsamic pork loin for dinner and it was phenomenal.  Yesterday was football all day, plus I cleaned a bit and did a little workout.  First time since the wedding.  I'm pathetic.

  • And Shauni - how the eff do you even convince yourself to get out of bed in the morning when it's -25 outside?!  That's insane!  I'm such a cry baby, I think I'd call in sick.

  • Hello, Hello!  Oh, how I love my weekends.  We didn't do much this weekend.  Saturday we got our coffee and ran errands including going to Trader Joe's!  Sunday was our football day.  We watched one game at home and went to his cousins for the other game.  I just enjoyed spending time with my hubby since I don't see too much of him during the week.

  • Buenos dias! Saturday, I met up with a small running group and we ran 10 miles, with hills...it was great :) After I got home, James and I went to look at this one house, grabbed some Mexican food and hung out at one of his brother's. I was exhausted and fell asleep before 10pm. yesterday, James and i went on an hour hike near our home, went grocery shopping at one store, washed my SUV and then hung out at home.

  • My weekend was pretty boring. Worked on saturday, and hubby was gone to an ice race pretty much all day, so I spent most of the day trying to accomplish some of the scrapbooking I'm soooooo behind on... I got some done, but I'm trying to do some new things like printing out my journaling, so it feels like it takes me forever to do one thing. dinner has been pretty boring lately but we're grocery sh opping tonite, so hopefully it'll get better soon haha.. :)x

  • I actually had a decent weekend. We went to Foxwoods on Saturday and lost a bunch of money, but we had budgeted for it and had a great time :) Then last night we had both families over for calzones, treats and football. Next weekend we're doing a big group snow tubing trip!

Oh, and my daughter is in love with Rugrats, which is pretty awesome :)
